Username: Sierra Character Number: 1 Name: Tali Age: 17 Gender: male Rank: Candidate Location: Weyr Sexual Preference: Heterosexual Partner: Appearance: Tali is a tall lad, standing at six feet in height. He has an average build, neither unfit nor particularly muscular, although that will probably change after some time in the Weyr! He has dark skin which is obviously the result of genetics, rather than hours spent in the sun. His shoulder length, loosely curly hair is also dark, a deep brown which is almost black. His amber eyes contrast the rest of his features and are perhaps his best feature. Personality: Tali is an easygoing young man. He is quick to make new friends and he strives to keep them. He is fiercely loyal, and he can be very protective of those close to him. The same is true not just for people, but for anything he holds dear. He guards his few possessions carefully, and if he ever gets pet, he will probably treat it with the same almost overbearing protectiveness. His loyalty is also apparent in his love for the Weyr and his respect for all high-rankers within. He is an optimistic person, and always quick with a joke to lighten the mood. He is an optimist, and believes that things will turn out for the best if you just let life take its natural course. History: Tali is the second son of a flirtatious bronzerider and a restless Holder's daughter. He was raised in the Hold by his mother, who did not marry for several more turns. Having a single mother brought plenty of prejudice from the other Holders, and the little family held tight to any friends they had. When he was older, Tali discovered a love and talent for music. He fashioned his own pipes and practiced constantly. His mother encouraged it, and when his mother married, his stepfather also supported the interest in music. He presented himself to the Hold Harper journeyman, who sponsored him to the Hall. Only three turns into his apprenticeship, however, he was Searched. He is agile and speedy in the air, almost as graceful as a green. His hide is a bright azure blue, speckled with navy blue on his back. Personality: A very calm fire lizard, Wave is well behaved and docile. He is very loyal and likes to stay close to his owner.
