| You see a huge building looming up in front of you. It has thick red sandstone walls with ivy crawling up the sides, and the only way you see possible to get inside is through a large wooden gate. You can just see the tip of the Proper roof when you step back and peer over the walls, but no matter how far away you are, you can always see the majestic bell tower, rising far higher than any other part of the building. Then you hear it toll. It is a resounding toll that would seem intimidating to vermin, but warm and welcoming to goodbeasts wishing to stay in the abbey. You look down at the gate. You hear a bolt slide, and some muffled scrapes of wood upon wood. Then the gate swings slowly open. A mouse stands in front of you, wearing a dark habit with the hood up and over his eyes, and holding a majestic sword in his paw. You step back, very much wary of this mouse. But then he lowers his sword and speaks in a kind, yet firm voice. "Welcome, Traveler. Welcome to Redwall Abbey." ~~~ REDWALL SEASONS ANNOUNCEMENTS ~ In the early stages of this website, I (Lord Oakspar) am allowing positions to be given out to newcomers- as long as they join early, and stay loyal to RS. Walls & Gate
These are the majestic red walls that have become legendary among Mossflower dwellers, and even many others. They have protected the Abbey dwellers from countless vermin invasions. The west gate is where all the Abbey's visitors have entered, and it is through this that they get their first glimpse of Redwall's majesty.
