I've got a lot of my storyline worked out but I'm trying to figure out how the Gray Witch / Chamberlain / Gwennie-pie might fit into the main plot also. I have worked out (or am currently working out) connections with the HoS and Haeleana. Anyone have any suggestions or ideas for interaction with other characters?

How she fits into the plot depends, kind of, on how she comes out of the Hand of Sauron thread. If she's for, that's one plot. If she's against, it's a whole other.

But about your entire narrative -- Gwenneth is obviously a favorite of the King and our dear Chamberlain will have to get used to that :p What do you think would happen if, after her 21st birthday, she was invited to stay at court? I don't mean to volunteer people here, but maybe as a Lady-in-Waiting to Arwen?

Is it possible that Leoynna and Aragorn know each other? He did live in Rivendell the first part of his life and was welcome back anytime for the rest of it. Leoynna would have been born when Aragorn was about ... oh, 50-ish? 60-ish?

I have an elven character Araniel who is currently travelling with Arwen back to Gondor but apart from that she's at a loose end. She is one of the few who stayed behind in Lorien so any ideas of any sort as to how she could maybe fit in. Or even a hint of an idea?

Milo:
I love the idea of Gwenneth being a lady in waiting, it would give her a purpose until she's studied enough to join the houses of healing.

I definitely think that Aragorn would know Leoynna, in fact I was thinking about having her go to him in quiet when and if she first manages to arrive at Gondor safely (after this HoS thread) to speak with him. I'm thinking that he wouldn't know Gwenneth was hers, but in his wisdom, after she tells him Aragorn would start to put the pieces together as to why the Chamberlain tries to keep their daughter so locked up. Does that make sense?

Haeleana:
I love playing with you and I was thinking about creating a character that is completely for the Hand of Sauron. Originally I was thinking that maybe they would blackmail Haeleana into spying or something? I'm not sure if Araniel would fit this storyline or not, would/does she have any connections that would be a reason to use her instead of Hael??

Araniel is an elf maybe they could try and get some of the remaining elves on side. She could be maybe forced to carry out the HoS's bidding or something?

On a totally separate line of thought, I had an idea which involved, a lot of people with sub-plots, but mainly the HoS, Hael, Gwen and eventually the Chamberlain.

Leoynna is on her way to Minas Tirith to find her daughter. But what if with all his spying-ness the HoS discovers that the woman has a daughter but not quite 'who' the daughter is because Gwen's spent so much of their time cooped up.

Hael and Gwen go on the journey with the King to meet the Hobbits before Leoynna manages to get to Gondor, BUT, dun dun dun, on their way the Kings party gets ambushed by HoS servants who have orders to kidnapp 'the daughter' of the Gray Witch.

Only because Gwen and Hael are so close in age and they aren't sure which one is which, they abduct both. And because the chamberlain has red hair and so does Hael, and Gwen has blue eyes like her mother, it's hard to figure it out even once they get to HoS and the whole plot goes on from there about their captivity, efforts to escape and blooming friendship? LoL

Aragorn gets back to Minas Tirith to discover Leoynna and eventually, down the line, the Chamberlain gives into the darkness and seeks out the HoS to rat out all the information on the pair.

By this time, the HoS can also play his hand with Hael and try to ransom her since she's of Dunedain descent?

-breaths out-

Plotting members! *jumps up and down*

There is only one thing that I would bring up here. We already have a kidnapping planned for Celarwen, which will get started any day now. I'd rather not recycle plots.

What if the Hand of Sauron gives the order to kill the daughter? If either of you can stand to see your character die, it'll happen. If not, one of your characters (or both) are critically injured. If you're both injured, then you stay in the Houses of Healing and recover together.

I think the only character I'd be willing to eventually kill of is Leoynna, but that wouldn't be for awhile yet I doubt.

And I had read awhile ago about a kidnapping plot but I thought it was with Hael, thats why I had incorporated it. My bad! I mixed up the charries.

I'll keep scheming!

What about Araniel? I know she's my newest character but to be honest she doesn't have a lot of purpose and if she was forced into serving HoS she could eventually betray him and it could cost her her life. I have time to get her involved in some more threads before long. Any ideas how she could get involved? I don't want to give up on her without giving her a proper exit

Well, I’m a bit late to jump into the Main Plot, but I’m hoping that Berien can be involved somehow. She has been a longtime servant under HoS (albeit not completely of her own will). Perhaps could be sent on scouting missions or can sneak in to find out some inside information in the Riddermark or Gondor? Or maybe she can pay a trip to Dol Guldur to see if there are any remnants of Sauron’s reign. As of now I’m just sprouting up ideas, but I’m open to any other suggestions. ^_^

On a separate note, I have a Dwarf character in the works right now. I’m still unsure of the details, but I was thinking of him being a resident of the Iron Hills and then bending toward the HoS’ side of things. He could then working on the forgery of armors and swords for the HoS’ cause or something along those lines.
