 It was as if the Valar had brought them together. That together they could get through all things like this. Aragorn was a good and wise man, just in everything that he does. But it was horrible that as a King, he would have to be faced with things like this. The horrible evil of Arda was suppose to be wipped out with Sauron. Though there was going to be evil after him, none of them could have guessed that it would be this bad.

She nodded. "Of course I would walk with you anywhere. " Who was there in the city that would be trusted with this information? "We should send Lady Eowyn. " Her brother was the King. . and she was as trustable as anyone that Arwen could think of.

 Aragorn did believe that everything happened for a reason, and therefore he didn't let himself be completely overwhelmed by the apparent hopelessness in the entire situation. The Valar would never abandon Arda, never let it perish, and as long as he had faith in that, he would be able to stay free of the darkness and be the leader his people would need so desperately. And to help him with that, he had Arwen. It did indeed seem as if the Valar had decided for the two to be together - the match seemed too good to simply be coincidence.

The King smiled and nodded acceptingly as Arwen proposed using Éowyn as a messenger. Surely, she would be eager to get to Edoras now that she had recovered, and her loyalty was completely undeniable. "Yes, Lady Éowyn would fit the task well," he said, offering his arm to his wife before starting to move towards the shadows cast by the citadel. "She has recovered quickly, and she will certainly be one of the last people to ever betray us."
