(current title is temporary until I think of something catchier) So I got a bit bored studying for my finals... well, inspired, really after reading all the topics.  So I decided to open up an image program and, er, do some graphic design. I thought it'd be best to share it, since it doesn't seem like something like this is found in a Red Book.I tried to include everyone, but feel free to tell me and hit me if I missed you. (Of course, other things like the image used or position, etc. can be addressed and I will do my best to fix it.)  [ see full size and past variations here ] Credits & Sources
Bear with me. D: It's not my best, but Photoshop died on me a few years back. Comments and criticism are, as always, appreciated. I'll probably edit this post with other things I've made once I have the free time. Post your own work too if you feel like it. It doesn't have to be strictly RoA-related (despite what the current title says).  I like looking at other people's mad skills, too.

Omg. That's awesome. <3 I love the colours and effects! I see Morion! Yay!  I'll post some of my work here later. Unfortunately, as a graphic design student, my free time to make my own graphics died last september. I miss it.The ONLY this I would change would be the red in the corner, the effect used. If you could use the same effect with the red you used under the type, but make it thicker, it would connect better. I still love it though. The dark colours are right up my street. I vote we use it.

- Shock. Gasp. Love. - It's like a snapshot of all the baddies, past and present! Every time I write a thread, I'm going to imagine that Hand of Sauron has this graphic framed and on his nightstand to remind himself of all the people he has corrupted. I don't usually do blends or banners because I get impatient with the blending. Most of my work is around the board somewhere already, so I won't post anything just yet. |

Thanks so much you guys. I'm glad it's liked so far. Fran, I tried to do what you suggested, but it turned out funny (mostly because I fail). D: Nevertheless, I think it’s much better than the original one, so thank you for your suggestion. :3 And zomg! A graphic designer student! Take your time; there’s no rush. I can’t wait to see what you make!  [ click for full size ] As for using it as a header, I’m not too sure. It may be too big (800x210 pixels). I plan on continually editing it as more baddies join the HoS’s cause (it might get gigantic one day—like wallpaper gigantic :x).
I spewed my tea when I read this. I’ve seen your work all over the place, Heather! I like the image masks you use. It makes everything look so elegant. <3 Bleh. Me too. I used to blend a lot when I was a kid, but ever since I lose my PS 5 disk, I have to use Paint.NET… which doesn’t allow blending, brushes, etc. D: Thus, the monochrome for easier transitions and mock-ups. I enjoy making small graphics ( icons =  ), but I decided to do a banner this time to fit all the baddies in RoA.

Baddies rock. Almost as much as this this banner. Which is awesome. I love how it's all black and white, except those dashes of red. ...I don't know why, I just do.  And I'm just going to take this moment to say that everyone's character faces on this site are amazing. Looking at a bunch of them put together on this banner, you see that every face has that touch of something that makes it believable for them to have existed in Middle Earth.

Wow… I’ve never thought of it that way… very interesting, Silver. Props to everyone for choosing wonderful PBs!  Thank you, Sar. I forgot about Esho when I was making this, but she’s up on the banner now as well. D: So sorry. Anyways, it should be big enough to be made into a wallpaper soon.  Instead, I have different wallpaper, this time featuring the Hand of Sauron… alone. I’ve only made them in certain sizes, so if there’s a size you want that’s not up there, feel free to request it. There are 3 large screens and 1 widescreen resolution. Bleh… I should get started on making Berien or Pippin things though for a Red Book. D: Sorry for mooching off other people’s characters. I enjoy the concepts of each character and, well, HoS looked pretty badass in that picture, so I was prompted to use it. Of course, if you don’t mind having your characters featured in wallpapers, banners, and the works, I’ll get to making more when I have the time. Once again, comments and criticism are welcome. *jaw hits the floor* *20 minutes later* OMG!!!!! And I usually don't abuse the exclamation mark. That is an amazing wallpaper, Andrea. And, and, and! It's an amazing Hand of Sauron wallpaper. I'm like a 2-year-old on Christmas. That's so ... erm, amazing. (And I started the Dictionary game?  )I'm going to use it! It will confuse the hell out of everyone used to seeing the Scottish Highlands as my desktop, but so worth the explanation that will follow

It feels kind of useless to post any kind of compliment after that ^^^, but I'll try. I can't use it because my laptop's broken, and I'm using my mom's!  The world is so cruel. She like, never uses her computer, but I'd feel bad changing the desktop anyways.But it really is amazing, Andrea! I really thing it's the simplicity that makes it so awesome. And if I didn't want my computer back before, I sure as hell want it now. |

Okay. Here is my first blend ever. So please be gentle if you see some majorly messed up thing I did. I am no wizard at blending, but hopefully I've done a descent enough job that I didn't cut off any body parts. Inspiration credit: Andrea! Also, for giving me the idea to go black and white. It makes blending so much easier.This is just the first of many graphics that honor The Light. If your character has been declared "Light" then they will eventually end up in one of my blends.
