Okay to spark some more conversation we’ll try this.
Here is the format: you post one word that begins with the same letter that the last person’s word ended with. Beneath that you can add comments or replies to previous comments but you must always add your one word first.

I never saw the movie Stealth.
Speaking of aircraft related movies, and perhaps even bad ones, who remembers that Clint Eastwood movie Firefox? What did you think of it?

Stealth was ok....bad actor and low budget. Could have been better.
Vero Firefox was awesome when it came out. Not bad for an early 80's movie. God i miss the Cold War :-/

But since we are on the topic of aircrtaft....The essence of awesomeness has to be the SR-71 Blackbird ;) That Plane still holds many records, mmm Lockhead gives me wood!

I got to see an SR-71 do a flyby once; it was back in 1988 and I was working a summer job for the city. I was driving around in 115 degree heat (that’s just over 46 for you Celsius folks), in a truck with no air conditioner, verifying the locations of road signs to keep the traffic inventory maps current. The Redding air show had been scheduled for a Friday and a Saturday, the Blackbird flyby was scheduled for Friday only and I had to work! Anyway I was driving along and suddenly there it was cruising past the airport. I was probably 3 miles away or more, but it was still amazing to see in flight.
