It occurred to me that the actual date in the game should be where construction was just finished and people are arriving in Rapture. So, obviously, all the threads done so far are after that. Um... oops. I suppose we could timeline these as starting a few years later? I like the whole concept of starting at the beginning and all but we are missing a couple of major characters like McDonough who would have huge roles in that. I don't mind things as they are since we have some good threads and things seem to be flowing together pretty well I just feel bad that I screwed up the timeline in my excitement and not-paying-enough-attentionness. |

Oh no, we made the year 1954! Cause we figured it would be a perfect kind of in between date from when the place was built and when everything started going really wrong. So everything is fine~!

Oh good! I feel less stupid now! I need to start a thread with Ryan being worried about Fontaine! |

Haha yes you do! I'll give you a little background on what Fontaine is up to in the plot thread for your characters ![]() Also, I hope you guys like my Fontaine. As RyanIndustries pointed out, it's difficult to portray a canon character. I feel like Fontaine would be pretty personable while he starts putting together the pieces of his plan and probably keep his more cut-throat nature to himself until Ryan starts cracking down on his smuggling operation. If you guys have any suggestions or feedback, I'd be happy to hear it. |

My main question is-- although clearly Ryan industries isn't offering them at the moment, is Fontaine Futuristics making plasmids generally available to the public yet? I assume no one is splicing hard, but is there, so to speak, much in the way of splicing going on as yet? |

Not just yet. At this point, plasmids are just beginning to make their way into public hands--via Fontaine Futuristics--at an extremely expensive price. |
