Stopping in front of the two new people who had entered the restaurant, Jase tried not to look as exhausted as he felt and inhaled deeply, forcing a smile. "What can I get you both tonight?" Hell, was he the only one working tonight? Sure seemed like it. Thanks, rest of the staff, for your truly amazing work. Balancing an empty tray on his left hand, he gave up and tucked it under his arm as he looked at them both expectantly. The quicker he took their orders and got their food to them, the quicker he could move on to even more customers, collect more tips (hopefully), then finally go home and get some sleep. |
