I mean people go up and down the Hudson Corridor all the time learning to fly a commercial aircraft and then heard this noise that seemed to come from everywhere but didn't - I had no idea what it was and then the south tower just exploded, it just, it just, it just blew up, and somebody said "that was a plane", it's like: I was underneath it, I was looking at the tower, I had my camera in my hand, I heard the noise, I never saw the airplane and didn't realize that I had that picture 'til a neighbor brought the Daily News over the next day and it had my byline underneath: "Oh my God, look at that! Quote: 'Handschuh was standing on the corner of Liberty and West when he heard a noise that "seemed to come from everywhere." He thought that perhaps a large natural gas main in the building let go. "But all of the sudden the second tower explodes into flame. And I'm standing underneath it. And I think, OK. This is a second bomb. This is not an accident." Handschuh instinctively raised the camera to his eye. Whats also very interesting is when one of the WTC's blew up, he describes being picked up and thrown, "in the air", a block's distance.

Glen Pettit sadly died. He was in the video unit. He sticks out to me as someone covering something up, or lying, or maybe making stuff up. Hey, I like this line: "I shattered my leg, I injured my knee, I had a few other injuries, but the injuries were inconsequential. They're physical injuries that'll be overcome and, um, far better alternative than some of the other options that were presented." Makes me envisage some kind of choice this guy had.

Posts: 76 Group: Members Member #112 Joined: Jan 9, 2009	David seems to be describing something hitting the tower causing the tower to explode... he just didn't see what "it" was. Did he blink or happen to flinch due to this sound coming from "everywhere"... was "it" traveling too fast??? He was able to snap off a picture so who knows... Witness statements are a nightmare. David's view was similar to Doug Longenecker (225 Rector Place- or Parc Place)... http://old.911digitalarchive.org/photograph/details/2276 Doug states that he heard just the first explosion... sirens and other traffic but after a trip to his roof and back to the apartment he missed the second event only hearing another explosion but didn't mention hearing a plane. http://old.911digitalarchive.org/stories/details/9438 "Before the picture could even materialize on the TV and before I could get to the window there was an extremely loud and extended BOOM. This time the sound was unmistakable. The sound was definitely an explosion."

I first thought this was some kind of sign that they were lying. But if you think about these guys being "not in on it" & all having had the same experience of something that is not the sound of a plane, yet within minutes they all were told this was the case. Then they were shown this "plane" was the 'cause ... well this would take the expected amount of trauma and mix it in with a lot of confusion as well. The type of confusion that human's often suppress. The phone call to him sounds like he is guilty if you are looking for perps. But if you go back and listen, and watch the vids again it is also consistent with someone who fits the description above, along with an uncomfortable feeling about discussing it without warning to a stranger. just some thoughts. Handschuh! He caught the plane this time lol
