Thanks to jimd3100 for the following info...

This lawsuit against the Saudis was eventually thrown out/withdrawn but included in this document is a good history of Saudi Arabia and it's religious/political background.....

http://www.investigativeproject.org/documents/misc/674.pdf

This lawyer represents the former Intelligence Chief for Saudi Arabia...

William H. Jeffress, a Washington lawyer who is representing Prince Turki Al-Faisal, a former Saudi ambassador to the United States who is one of the princes named in the lawsuit, said the Justice Department came down on the right side of the law in supporting immunity.

The Law firm he came from.....

Prince Turki isn't the only Saudi using the law firm to protect them from 9/11 lawsuits...

When two of the most powerful members of the House of Saud--the Saudi defense minister, Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, and his brother, Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the governor of Riyadh--needed lawyers to defend them against a lawsuit brought against them and other Saudis by survivors of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, Sultan and Salman hired Baker Botts.

The law firm is named after....

James Addison Baker was born in Houston, Texas at 1216 Bissonnet,[2] to James A. Baker, Jr. (1892–1973) and Ethel Bonner (born Means) Baker (August 6, 1894 – April 26, 1991). His father was a partner of Houston law firm Baker Botts

They gave George his first job...

The induction of George W. Bush into the Texas crony network can be traced to a precise date: June 6, 1962. On that date, the gregarious 15-year-old went to work in the mailroom of Houston's oldest and most prestigious law firm, Baker Botts.

Knowing that before any lawsuit ever was thought of, Bush was already protecting Saudi Arabia from the very beginning by censoring the joint inquiry report and then later using Zelikow on the 9-11 commission. It all smells really bad.
