(Reuters) This will be Sirhan's 14th parole appearance. LOS ANGELES (KTLA) -- Sirhan Sirhan, the man convicted of assassinating Senator Robert F. Kennedy, will appear before a California parole board Wednesday. The Palestinian-born Sirhan is currently serving a life sentence in the 1968 murder, and has already spent 42 years behind bars. This will be his 14th parole appearance. It will take place at Pleasant Valley State Prison in Coalinga, California, where Sirhan is incarcerated. Lawyers for Sirhan say two psychologists report that he no longer poses a threat to society. Legal experts say that it is unlikely the 66-year-old will be released.
