DOJ pressed for details on Internet tracking plan> http://news.cnet.com/8301-31921_3-20029531-281.html?tag=topTechContentWrap;editorPicks The arguments being used are for tracking pedophiles, hackers and terrorists (Oh My) The actual usage scenario is a bit different from what is being argued Instead of going after the websites and server operators that still host content that is determined to be illegal by the very people that make these laws, they only seem to want the authority to go after anyone who accesses that content that resides in their "Honeypot" of illegal content There should never be any entity (be it person, corporation or Gov't agency) that can maintain a database of illegal content for the express purpose of using that content to criminalize anyone they choose who happens to access that content, whether it be on purpose or by accident! The reason I say this is because those who want to control this planet, wish to do so anonymously from behind the scenes and remain immune to their own laws by their anonymous actions You will never know who the enemy is if they remain anonymous, yet grant themselves the power to blackmail, extort and/or criminalize anyone who plays their game on the Internet For example.. If You or I were to report illegal content on the Internet, yet it is never removed from the Internet and these Gov't agency's never go after those hosting or uploading that content, then we have a big problem! When redirectors send you to an illegal site that you had no intention of visiting or when you open photo's labelled "funny LOLCats" only to find more illegal content, we have a problem I have nothing against locking down the Internet if we can still "LEGALLY" express our dissent on such a network with full immunity for expressing those views But that is the problem That Internet does not now and will NEVER exist! It will be locked down to "prevent" us from expressing our views, yet mysteriously (or magically) make content available that ensures anyone can be a labelled a criminal at any time, regardless of their intent The most popular File sharing software available made it impossible to "NOT" share whatever you were downloading without a bachelors degree in computer science By unwittingly sharing whatever you downloaded, it was virtually assured that you would become a criminal under that type of system and all that time, you thought file sharing software was there to help you beat the system The system is rigged! It always will be! "Legally" purchased copies of XP / Vista and Windows 7 are nothing more than spyware platforms but the security "experts" never talk about that Instead, all we hear about are the non-functioning or crappy spying techniques that are caught up in red tape and may or may not be implemented at some point in the future We never hear about what really works and is already being used, or the information obtained The only people who say I am wrong about the methods being used against us are the people who provide no proof of their assertions Far too many Websites now "Require" that you allow plugins to send and recieve data through your firewall just to view the webpage in question or to watch videos Does anyone see a problem with that? We used to be able to block ANY Microsoft component such as "NDIS user mode" or "NT kernel system" from accessing the Internet through our firewalls, yet when AVG 8.0 was first released, I found that it silently disabled the firewall from determining what can and cannot access the Internet I could block ALL programs in my firewall, yet Firefox and many other components were "Magically" still connected to the Internet after being blocked by the firewall Back in the early XP days, I could see ALL XP components that tried to connect to the Internet (untill AVG 8 was installed) Now, you cannot tell what is connecting in the newer operating systems and AVG even states in the licence agreement that your firewall will be disabled for the antivirus to work correctly WTF? How can we keep the bad guys out if we don't know what is going on in our computers? The silence is deafening No answer is forthcoming Your OS will remain closed source Stop asking questions |

Some very sick people are running this world. "The arguments being used are for tracking pedophiles, hackers and terrorists" Ironically it is they, the control freaks with too much power, who are probably the worst pedophiles, hackers and terrorists! The madness of it all MAC |
