It MAY look like a chopper....... to you. And i agree that it may also be a chopper. But in my opinion It could also be a plane. You got a F***in' problem with that? Edited by seatnineb, Jan 5 2011, 08:18 AM.

Dude! SERIOUSLY......Get your eyes checked! Everyone else clearly see's a helicopter From more than one angle and from more than one camera! This was only an issue back when the Jennifer Spell Video 1st surfaced But, if I have better eyes and/or a better monitor than you, then I'm a Troll? Wow... Just....Wow

Looks more like a white fish to me  Has no visible wings, or rotors (far away, crap res). Has a bit of tail fin though. Flies kinda more like a chopper.. looks a little like a plane though (body). An Aeorchopper? A Copterplane?  MAC |

Despite the low res....and if this is indeed a chopper...then it is defintely not the NYPD Took a random shot of an NYPD chopper (and mirrored it)...and then put it side by side:  Now if I am not mistaken...only NYPD choppers would have been allowed to get that close to an already burning WTC. But if it is not the NYPD..then who? A media chopper? As far as I am aware the media choppers were North and north west of the WTC(BEFORE THE 2ND HIT) The 2 principle one's being chopper 4(NBC) and the WCBS chopper that was providing a live feed to CNN, ABC and FoxNews. And this unidentified plane is travelling in a south(possibly south-eastish) to north(possible north western) trajectory. So that leaves it to be either a private(?) or military(?!) chopper. Yea, it's a pretty weird chopper if it is one. I think we should call it moby d ick.. that's what it reminds me of. Dya think it's actually white, or is that sun reflection? Can it be seen in other vids? MAC |

Yeah...good point....reflection of the sun could have an effect. Having said that here is Mobyd*** south of the WTC..(possibly over battery park)  and here it is just west of the WTC(possibly over the hudson)....and from the vantage point of the cameraman...it appears between the North and south towers: The sun was shining from the north-north east that morning......with the towers inbetween Moby and the sun at the moment that Moby was just west of the WTC....this would have been the moment for the reflection of the sun to be impeded.....but it still seems white:  ....and then here it is again now north west of the WTC...and in the full glare of the sun again: IMHO this thing is definetely/predominantly white... |

As for other camera angles that may have caught this object: The WCBS chopper that was providing the live feed for ABC,CNN and Fox news and was situated north west of the WTC from 8:52 to 9:03(time of 2nd plane hit) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tBc1F4LLcOo ........filmed 3 choppers passing west of the WTC at: 8:53  8:56  9:00  Now the choppers at 8:53 and 9:00 IMHO seem to be at too low an altitude to be Moby..... But the chopper at 8:56 seems to be at the right elevation and possibly the right speed...and trajectory....(although the different perspectives make it difficult to judge) But from this angle the 8:56 chopper seems dark....  ....unlike Moby... ...go figure! Ronald Pordy filmed the supposed 2nd plane from a similar angle to the cameraman(who missed this same 2nd plane)......but who filmed Moby. Interesting that in roughly/potentially similar positions(allowing for the different perspectives)....Moby is real white..wheras the supposed ua175 which is grey...  and then has turned dark:

seatnineb Yea.. weird craft. Vaguely chopper shaped in that vid, all white looking.. odd. Low rez, hard to tell. Wonder if these are Mobys? Seen head on perhaps? Maybe they're already identified? 1 and 3 are choppers i guess, but is the 2nd? (1st pic). Not my markings btw, i just found the pics in my collection.  Top left, white blob (Unmanned jobby?)  MAC |
