Just thought of something... Sonia Puopolo TAPD 03-04-2001. Now that's 5 months in advance of 9/11. The caption info in the IPTC reads; Caption : Sonia Morales Puopolo of Massachusetts, a former ballet dancer, was a passenger on American Airlines Flight 11 that crashed into the World Trade Center in New York during a terrorist attack Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2001. (AP Photo/El Nuevo Herald, Roberto Koltun) How far in advance are plane flights scheduled? I don't know how the airlines work, do they schedule specific flights 5 months in advance? If not, then it's unlikely that editing to her photo could have occurred 5 months in advance (with details about a future flight). But then, i heard that Flight 11 was a regular flight? Dunno. MAC |

@MAC Good stuff man Keep it goin' I downloaded exifreader I also down loaded Irfanview: http://www.irfanview.com/ And the IPTC on irfan shows the same date of origin as exifreader for bingham and lewin Was someone within cnn having a joke?! |

Is it just me.... or does it seem that the majority of the fotos that have been pulled from the cnn memorial belong to people who were on one of the 4 planes!? |

seatnineb Yea, that seems to be the case. Although David Rice, for example, was a WTC victim. Many are pulled, but then, Lewin is still there. The photos aren't even replaced with a lighted candle like many others that had no photo to begin with. I too wondered if someone was having a sick joke.. or whistleblowing. Bingham's photo was presumably there for the last 8 or 9 years (i've never looked), then it's gone. We'll have to see if they pop back up, then check the IPTC again. There may turn out to be a simple explanation for the IPTC last edit dates showing up as on, or before 9/11 and yet appearing with all the 9/11 blurb... ?  MAC Edited by MAC, Aug 29 2010, 07:11 PM.

Gonna be checking other missing photos. Christine Barbuto, for example (photo missing, archived), has a last edit date of 20-11-2001.. so that's not suspicious really. Yet many of the missing photos are of (alleged) passenger victims. But, for example, Kelly Booms' (from Flight 11) photo is there. However, her photo has no IPTC data to worry about (hence the absence of the vertical white side bar on her photo).
