Finally there is one more option to put you in the front of the upper deck and Michael "behind" you. It would fit the described angles of view - towers almost ahead and a little bit to the right and the plane came in from your left side. ![]() Here is the angle

Spok...the ferry was parallel to the land. I think it was up closer to Clinton Castle or alongside the "dock" sticking out into the water. I also e-mailed Jeff a sketch of how I was sitting on the ferry. A day or so ago, Jeff posted the ferry alongside (parallel) to the dock. I think that is a good possibility, except the ferry needs to be turned around. Thanks for your help. tgc c |

Carmen, really, you wasn't in that position neither closer nor west of the castle. It's impossible regarding to your photographs. |

I liked the way you phrased your description of the iron microspheres. "the iron must be fluid/molten" Nice. I also agree that a regular fire isn't hot enough to cause this. I suggest that DEW weakened the interactions between the iron particles such that they were "fluid" but not "molten". Molten implies excess heat. Once the weapon stopped, the iron once again had high affinity to itself and formed the sphere. Excess heat would have burned the people on the street who lived through the dust cloud. This lack of excess heat indicates that thermite was not the mechanism of destruction. |

Debs... Glad you found the video--just goes to show that some people out there are great at thievery! The first image is NOT mine. Nowhere on my CD is there one like that. The rest of them are mine. Between the image at about 10/12 and 14 they skipped one of my photos. Also between 43/45 (somewhere in there) and 47 they skipped my 14 and 15 images as best I can tell. The time range on the original properties of the images on my CD begins with image 2 at (time on my camera) 2:17 and the disc ends at 3:38:02. My camera begins with image #2 and ends with image #29. Hope this helps--and thanks! TGC Carmen Edited by heidimarie, Aug 12 2009, 04:01 PM.

Carmen~ You are being very helpful, and I really appreciate your efforts! May I please ask one more favor? What was the camera time for picture #25, the Statue of Liberty shot? We already have most of the other times, from pic #8 through pic #29. It would be splendid to have the time for pic #25, as well. Thanks! Debs |

Debs.... #25 is 3:15:44 I took that shot to be doing something completely opposite. Had to turn around and get something other than what I had been looking at. You're a sweetie. Thanks. tgc Carmen |

Aww, shucks; you're too kind. Oh! You know what would really help? Could you please post picture #7 with the camera time? That would be splendid! Thanks very much! Debs |

Debs...what are you doing to me? #7 is somewhere around 24 on the video and was taken at 2:35:18. Its also the one with my reflection in the glass which some kind "conspiracy group" used to help prove "I'm a dude." It's somewhere, probably on Pumpitout someplace. Jeff can find it, I can't figure out how to put photos, etc., in here. Just to set the record straight, I'm not a dude, I'm a gal. I'll e-mail Jeff a picture Doug took of me on the Jersey side. We decided we needed pictures of us to prove we were there. tgc c |

I'm sorry! I don't know which of the early pictures in the video are which numbers in the series. Thanks for clearing that up and giving the camera time for #7. I'm sorry for being such a pest. Please forgive me. I'll stop asking for things. Be well, Dbes |

Debs, you're not being a pest, no apology needed! Actually, you reminded me of Colombo, you know the detective on TV?...and I thought it was funny. I love Colombo! If there's something specific you're needing to know or trying to figure out, let me know and I'll try to help. I've sent #7 to Jeff to post, but I can't send the picture of me. I'm sorry. tgc c Edited by heidimarie, Aug 13 2009, 10:09 AM.

Yes, that's right - what ever the source was - but there was ... a lot of heat... and more heat... and burnt people in the dust. Read the Task Force Interview of EMT Patricia Ondrovic. |

Hi Carmen~ Okay; you caught me. I confess; I had a few questions but I didn’t want you to feel overwhelmed, so I asked them one at a time. If you will be gracious and allow me to ask another question, it would be this: I read your description of how you set up your famous shot: you were holding your camera up, eyes on the video display in the back of the camera, watching the plane fly in with your peripheral vision; you were conscious of ‘framing’ so you saved room on the right for a helicopter; and you were holding the shutter down half way. And then… And then the plane appeared in the video display and you snapped the picture. Here’s my question: Did you have a sense that the plane arrived too soon? That is, sooner than you expected it to? Thank you very much for your thoughtful reply. Debs |
