I've been a visitor to pumpitout.com for 9 months. I visit several times a day. I read,learn,link,if I like I download. Sometimes,believe it or not,I even (try to) join in. 9 times out of 10 I'm wrong but I'm genuinely trying.(Some would say very trying!) When I'm not on pumpitout.com you can find me on any one of the online movie sites,(movie addict,hate cinemas),watching some sad B movie whilst wondering whats been happening on pumpitout.com. In fact,I've recently began to pause movies several times to come have a quick peek! My career is suffering,I shouldn't be on here right now,I've 2 whole new sets of songs to learn in a week! My question is,(it's only now occurred to me!!),does it cost money to run a forum like this and if so,how much and who pays? Shurely not Shure? Forgive my naivety,this is the first and only forum I've really been on and I have no idea of these things. The reason I've raised this is because I was reading an old thread and somebody was talking something I didn't quite get about bandwidth. What I did get is that somebody pays for it correct?? I've had 9 months of stimulation,or entertainment(wrong word!),certainly information and intrigue,a touch of drama,fits of laughter,the whole gamut of emotion and what has it cost? .........Hang on,I'm still working it out.........never too good at advanced arithmetic..........Oh Yes,that's right,nought,nil,nowt,nothing,notaredcent and .....zilch,zero. Best value for money I ever had! What I'm trying to say is,can I help and if so,how and how much,(bearing in mind I'm a poor musician!).I'd gladly help but I know Shure is far too modest and gentlemanly to approach with such a request so it'd be good if one of you 'older' members could stick the info on here for all us newbie-ish members to chip in if we want to. Thanks. |

Hey, Don't let stuff like 9/11 interfere too much with your real world (yourself, family, friends). I know myself and others who have made that mistake. The website server costs me $180.00 per year, but the forum is a free forum set up through zetaboards. Most of my costs are accumulated through phone bills and search tool payments. When I have been in need of money in the past, I have asked and people have responded with help. Thank you for your concern Andy  Take care, Jeff |
