spark of life posted at KaTie's forum that "some people think it is this building" w/o posting the hi res image I posted on this thread that helps prove Mars Rovers discovery in this thread that the building is not the wtc, but the 17 state street. ...Therefore disproving his "proof" that the color change (of the round building face) in the shot being discussed...  ...Is a failure/mistake in the green screening processes. He also fails to inform the NOmovement crowd about the hi res version apparently available in the bbc documentary I found referenced. He is not concerned with accuracy, just being right. |

Today is Sunday, August 02, 2009. I have read genghis’ post 5 times, and I still don’t believe it. I recently heard that genghis was talking smack about me and so I did a search for my username; indeed, genghis is/was talking smack about me. Me! All I do is find camera positions and identify buildings and publish the results; what harm is there in that? In order to do a good job, I must conduct research; I must become familiar with the subject matter. So, I read a thread; big deal. And I left my marker [bumping??], big deal. I hadn’t read that thread before because I didn’t need to; I must prioritize my time. Genghis, when I wrote: “Wow; great thread.” I was applauding the thread, NOT any conclusion or viewpoint. Does that type of nuance elude you? “…one of them”? I’m completely independent. “…a shill”? I’m my own man. “what makes a person browse a thread that was buried a month ago?.” It’s called ‘research’, genghis. And I didn’t browse; I read the whole thing. BTW, I found this: “Perspective Compression by a Telephoto Lens: A Myth” http://scubageek.com/articles/compression.pdf Here’s the summary line: “In other words, the apparent size of the background object increases relative to the size of the foreground object!” I encourage everyone to read this report (it’s not very long; a short, graphic-filled 4 pages).
