Darnell-Cookman Middle/High School freshman Tony Hansberry
has been working with Bruce Nappi, the administrative director at the

Research, on a new technique for sewing up hysterectomy patients.
A Jacksonville researcher has developed a way of sewing up patients after hysterectomies that stands to reduce the risk of complications and simplify the tricky procedure for less-seasoned surgeons.
Oh, and he’s 14 years old.
Feel free to read that again.

what's the relevance of the kid being "african american"? is that better than a caucasian kid being brilliant?

i've read the article. the fact that he is african-american is a moot point, isn't it? unless you're trying to be patronising to black people.

It is a bit odd for a first post at a 911forum. Then again, nothing wrong with it. They behave and stay civil--which they are so far--should be fine.

There are people who get so fired up about whatever their thing is they hit any forum they can with it-relevant or not. Their Netiquette improves in time.
