she's a liar if she says she took those shots. there is no 2001 camera that could take no1 and no2 that close together. not even a modern digital could do that. and no motion blur !!!. lol Edited by genghis6199, Jan 23 2009, 07:25 PM.

I agree, I was expecting her to say it was a video, my 2008 Nikon can only fire off about 3-4 frames per second. |

WTF is wrong with you Sicko Perps Anyway? She's a photojournalist and can obviously afford a decent camera YES THERE WERE FILM CAMERAS IN 2001 THAT COULD SHOOT THAT FAST! Maybee not digital cameras but she wasn't using a digital camera was she? And yes modern digital cameras can shoot even faster if you have the money to spend! A simple Google search will find Modern Digital Cameras that can shoot individual photos much faster than even a 30FPS video camera but will set you back some serious money Here is a full resolution digital that shoots 60 FPS in burst mode and it's nearly a year old! http://www.slashgear.com/worlds-fastest-digital-camera-casio-exilim-pro-ex-f1-nailed-popular-mechanics-editors-choice-awardrs-choice-award-0710142/ You people are SICK! Your Welcome Jeffrey! She said she was using 35mm film! Framerates for "Professional" 35mm Film cameras in 2001 was between 4 and 10 frames per second on the better models Edited by Sock Ninja, Jan 24 2009, 12:28 AM.

I do find it interesting that every photo I've seen of the plane is so clear. Its as if they were taking a picture of a parked plane instead of one that was supposedly going over 500mph!!! |

Pick "ANY" Professional grade 35mm Camera from around 2001 and it will definitely have a fast enough shutter speed! NO JEFF, disposable Kmart cameras do not count!!!!!!!!!!! |

This article explains how to capture fast action, the example of 'fast action' is a subject moving at 65mph, I don't think you realize quite how fast 500+mph is!
