This audio is from a meeting taking place on 9/11 and it recorded the sound of both impacts clearly. http://www.sonicmemorial.org/sonic/public/audioAsset.jsp?assetURL=http://911digitalarchive.org/sonicmedia//repository/media/child_864.mp3 http://www.sonicmemorial.org/sonic/public/audioAsset.jsp?assetURL=http://911digitalarchive.org/sonicmedia//repository/media/child_865.mp3 http://www.sonicmemorial.org/sonic/public/audioAsset.jsp?assetURL=http://911digitalarchive.org/sonicmedia//repository/media/child_866.mp3 Lots of other interesting audio on this site too. |

The 1st impact sounds very different from the 2nd impact. On the 1st impact audio there's an echoed whistle, then a dull thud, then 9 seconds delay, then a big explosion sound. This is very similar to the Naudet 1 audio except on Naudet, the dull thud is barely heard. But the delay from whistle to explosion is around 9 seconds. On the 2nd impact a dull thud is heard, less delay, then smaller explosions. I've been looking for the video shot from a roof which has audio of the 2nd impact, it's cropped in and the Towers are obscured by closer buildings, the audio sounds like a muffled thud. Does anyone have this footage? I saw it on a docu ages ago but can't remember which one and I can't find it now on youtube. I want to compare it with this audio of the 2nd impact. |

Did you ever find the video? If so, which one was it? If not, is it on my 2nd hit missed page? |

Jenny Carr was at a business meeting with others on the morning of 9/11 at 1 Liberty Plaza 26th floor, and a recording was being made of that meeting. ![]() Imo the explosion of the WTC1 lobby that blew out the entire west side is the only one explanation for the 9 sec delay of the explosion sound. Nevertheless, the fuel droplets would have needed about 1 minute to rain down to the basement. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F9c_CJ_nJbc Go to 5:46 Edited by achimspok, Oct 28 2009, 12:59 AM.
