I agree with your assessment of Carmen. I haven't studied Hezarkhani in much detail, but my previous question may not have been clear enough: What do you think of Doug Haluza? He sounded somewhat secretive during your short conversation with him on the telephone. Suspicious things about Haluza: 1. He's secretive on the phone. 2. Carmen said (in 2nd phone call) HE was the one who said, "You have THE PICTURE!" 3. He "volunteers" to take her to his "office" to download the pics. 4. Power out is almost everywhere else at the time. * Even cell phones aren't working. * Carmen calls it a "unbelievably lucky" window of opportunity. * How did Haluza know/believe he'd have power by the time they got to his office? 5. Carmen said his office is some kind of "security" firm, they were "very, very high tech". 6. Carmen says they probably were in the "office" until about noon. (Approximately two hours) What we don't know from your calls: 1. Was Haluza, or anyone else, ever out of Carmen's sight with her camera? 2. Why did it take two hours to download the pics? 3. Who else was in the office with Haluza, and what was the substance of their conversations with Carmen? 4. What was the ENTIRE substance of Haluza's conversation with Carmen from the time he met her in Battery Park until they parted after leaving his office? 5. Was Haluza able to make any cell phone calls from Battery Park to his office/elsewhere? 6. Did Carmen and Haluza part before or after the ferry took them to Jersey? 7. Was there anything else Carmen thought was suspicious or unusual about Haluza beside the fact he was incredibly "lucky"to have power when practically no one else did. 8. Why did these AP guys come to her hotel close to midnight to do an interview? (Why not the following morning?) 9. How did the AP arrange to meet her, or did they just show up at her hotel room? 10. Who did she tell she was staying at the hotel? 11. How did she already have "over a hundred" messages waiting for her by the time she arrived at her hotel at 6 p.m.? |
