The gene pool is changing. Only a select few know it yet, and they're acting in secret. Over the past few years, random individuals experience fundamental changes in their genetics, mutants graced with special and extraordinary abilities that set them apart from the remainder of the human race. Charles Xavier, Erik Lensherr, Raven Darkholme, mutants themselves, are all setting into motion the beginnings of plans they have for the mutant race, in secret, keeping their superhuman nature a secret from the general public.
Xavier, a powerful telepath, has turned his school into a haven for which he has began to gather young mutants, in which to ready them for the world and how to responsibly handle their gifts, as the X-Men, for the benefit for mankind, in hopes that one day they would be able to be accepted amongst the world at large.
Darkholme, with the endorsement of Lensherr, has likewise begun to gather young mutants to her, though under the belief that the world will never accept them for who they are, deciding instead to one day make the world safe for their kind through the strength of their wills, minds, and powers.
And this is where the story opens up for this, the Rising Evolutions.
It just so happens that Rising Evolutions is an X-Men Evolution RP, with a generous allowance on themes and styling from the Ultimate universe, as well. Check out the availability for your favorite character, fill out an application and join in.
As it stands right now, this is a brand new board run by a great staff and there are several major canon characters still available for application. Get in on the ground floor before your favorites are all gone.
