I've been offered Ronnie Brown, Trent Edwards, and a 2009 4th rounder for McFadden.
Not stacked at back but can barter some deals that may bring some decent action my way if I trade Run DMc.
0-3 and desperate in a 3 player keeper.

No no no. Don't do it. McFaddene in the long run (pun intended) will make Brown look like Ickey Woods. No no no. four time NO.

#1 - 0-3 is not a disaster. In one league I was in, four years straight a team started 0-4 and made the playoffs.
#2 - Do you really want to keep Ronnie Brown or Trent Edwards? I doubt it. Do you want to keep DMC? I'm guessing so.
Don't do it.

Unless you feel your better @ QB and RB after this deal I say pass. I know Brown had that huge game last week, ala Darren McFadden-style while at Arkansas, but he's been injury prone and have yet to show the desire to be Miami's go-to-guy. McFadden will BE Oakland soon.

How deep of a league is it? I hear you about it being bone dry in bigger leagues. In my 14 team league Mike Tolbert, Jason Mckie and Greg Jones are the top RB free agents in terms of points. That's bad.
Then, on the opposite side of things, is my 10 team league. For some reason they use roster quotas (You MUST have 3 QBs, 4 RBs, 5 WRs, 2 TEs, 2 Ks, 2 DSTs. I hate having to carry a set amount per position. I got Edgerrin James on the waiver wire this week in that league and could have had Chris Perry. How a guy getting 20 touches a week ends up on the market, I have no idea.
Speaking of which, my fourth RB is Fred Taylor. Should I dump him for Perry?

Update: I took the deal and Am now 4-4. Now I have another owner who wants to trade Marques Colston to me for Steve Breaston and my recently acquired 4th rounder rookie. Seem like a no-brainer. Do I do it?

I'm inclined to say Colston for Breaston (nearly) straight-up is indeed a no brainer. Do the move and have no regrets in lossing the rookie pick.
