At the risk of sounding my usual insensitive, politically incorrect self, WTF??? With all that is going on in this country and the world right now, our Congress needs to debate this? What is the purpose? Gays are not discriminated against now in the military. They just want them to STFU and do their jobs like everyone else. It is so horrible that they can't organize Gay parades??? |

They aren't really allowed to serve, they get the boot if they are gay. It would be like having don't ask don't tell for Jews. You can serve as a jew, but if you tell us you're a jew...well, you're out. Not really that cool....people willing to fight and die for us should get our respect and be allowed to serve and be who they are. The least we can do, I think. I really don't care who you stick it to....just do your job, and thanks for your service. |
