Where is the cellphone bill for this "homeless" gentleman sent?

Michelle Obama serves food to D.C. poor and homeless, but...
First Lady Michelle Obama showed up Thursday as a surprise and welcome volunteer at Miriam's Kitchen, a soup kitchen for homeless poor people not far from the White House.
She brought with her some food donated by White House staff.
The first lady served up mushroom risotto and broccoli to a long line of homeless men and women during part of her lunch hour and in these photos poses for a picture by one homeless diner obviously excited to be in the first lady's presence.
Obama said she hoped her service would cause other Americans to volunteer to help the less fortunate in their own communities.
And, of course, such images of need might also help build support for her husband's economic and healthcare reform agenda, although a Miriam's spokeswoman said their average "guest" has been homeless since about the time Barack Obama was elected to the U.S. Senate in 2004.
Miriam's is a privately funded soup kitchen about seven blocks from the White House that has 1,200 volunteers and serves about 300, mainly men, each morning. Our colleague Mark Silva has more on the volunteer work in the Swamp here.
Both of these news photos were widely distributed across the country and even around the world.
It doesn't detract from the first lady's generous gesture or the real needs she seeks to highlight to ask two bothersome journalistic questions about these news photos:
If this unidentified meal recipient is too poor to buy his own food, how does he afford a cellphone?
And if he is homeless, where do they send the cellphone bills?

Never heard of prepaid cellphones? Does he charge it on his American Express card or on Capital One?

You can pay cash. If he can afford a picture cell phone, then why is he homeless and eating at the government trough?

I don't freakin' know, why the hell didn't the reporter ask the question? Bingo! The point of the bloggers post. My guess is the liberal media didn't think of it, they just wanted to fawn attention on Michelle Obama's volunteerism. And by the way good for her.

Yeah, that's probably because its the best angle to get a shot of the First Lady. He also doesn't look like a volunteer. Still has his hat on. Plus a volunteer would likely have a real camera.

We can go back and forth like this all day.

What exactly is the point here?
Homeless people cannot have cell phones? Does having a cell phone somehow disqualify a person from "homeless" status?
This is just a guess, but I am thinking that this homeless person took part in some sort of charity event where prepaid phones were given out. Such things do take place. My company today is having a cell phone donation event for troops deployed overseas.

That's not some military vet with a phone, just some get over artist.
She's ugly.
I'm tired of the media blitz pretending otherwise, that she's a "model".
Worse she's a professional grievance monger Affirmative Action whiner-just as she was at Princeton, jsut as she was whent hey invented her big bucks still-unfilled job as hospital "diversity coordinator".

A homeless person can afford a cell phone by picking up cans and then can use that cell phone to get a job and eventually a residence.
If I was in the business of counseling homeless people, a cell phone would be the first thing I would suggest them to get to help aid them pull themselves out of the hole they find themselves in.
Sorry to rain on the awesomeness that is this idiotic thread...

A homeless person can afford a cell phone by picking up cans and then can use that cell phone to get a job and eventually a residence.
If I was in the business of counseling homeless people, a cell phone would be the first thing I would suggest them to get to help aid them pull themselves out of the hole they find themselves in. A camera phone?

A camera phone? It's pretty hard to find a cell phone without a camera. What decade do you live in?
