I, Patchouli Knowledge, propose a new Time of Day system, similar to that in early versions of PAU. However, this system will be much different. While the old system was based on real time, with 6 AM - 6 PM being light, and 6 PM - 6 AM being dark, I propose that the new system works on a new system. The new system would be based off Magmos time. Every hour would be 12 hours in Magmos time. Thusly, there would be two hours in a Magmosian day. Thusly, if the game is up for the 14 hours it is on average, a Real-life day would be a Magmosian week. Day of the Sun Day of the Moon Day of Fire Day of Water Day of Earth Day of Wood Day of Metal From 6 AM to 6 PM, the sky will be bright and sunny, like it currently is all the time.  From 6 AM to 7 AM and from 6 PM to 7 PM, the sky would be yellow-red with the rising or setting sun.  From 6 PM to 6 AM, however, the sky is dark, and sight is limited by a few tiles. (Not visible on this mockup screen, but it will only be a 1-2 tile darkness)  Some in-game NPCs would only appear on certain days, and others could appear at certain times. Certain shops could have different stocks on different days, while others would only be open every other day. Tides could be influenced by the time, allowing for new seaside caves to be accessed. The time and day would be saved between sessions of the game, so that if the game shuts down at 6 PM on the Day of Wood, when the game is hosted the next day, it will still be 6 PM on the Day of Wood. I also propose that the weather could change randomly, with a forecast being generated at the start of each week. Each day would be split up into 4 parts, allowing the weather to change every 6 in-game hours. (Every 30 RL minutes) Each kind of weather could have an impact on certain aspects of the game. For example, rain would water your berries for you, and snow would allow for snowballs to be made and thrown. Certain areas would only be accessible when the cold, snowy air freezes over certain rivers or ponds.  A cloudy day in Magmos..  The rain makes for a dreary, yet calming, atmosphere. Post comments, suggestions, and your opinion on whether this should or should not be added into the game! |

It would be a full day of time in two hours, even if its the middle of the night in the east coast, it could be sunny, or rainy, or night. It goes by magmos time |
