The Haunted Resort RP

The serenity resort had only opened about a year ago. It was a fine place for many people to escape their troubles and their jobs. But it has many more purposes. There was also classes for people to attend to for natural healing of the mind, and body. The goal was to restore the true person within you. So not only it's a place to escape, but for healing, and de-stressing.

The resort was constructed from the remains of an old institution. While the interior was being refurnish, there was one room with a security door, was inaccessible. No one know what's behind those doors until one person, the owner of the institute, decided take a quick bathroom break. The door suddenly, and silently slid open revealing an old lab. She walked in to investigate and discovered an old journal under a lit lamp. Strange...cautiously she walked up to the desk and flipped through the journal. There was only a few writing, but very much of it was blank, but one thing she did notice was the name...

Suddenly the lab seems to shift into another space, almost revealing a different setting entirely. Rather it's from another time or dimension was uncertain, but the effect seemed to spread throughout the resort without notice from the occupations.

Little after, the residents started to act strange. Some seems to lost most of their sense. Some acting a bit extreme, and some became downright hostile. Others claim to have seen ghosts walking throughout the resort. Strange enough, the owner, seems to gain a split personality and started to do experiments on healing residents.

Due to the strangeness and hostility on the returning residents, the authorities closed off, and isolate the remainder of the resident until further investigation. The place is no longer considered the resort...but returned to an institution of the insane.

Welcome to Serenity Institution.

2.Roleplay

This RP have as much sense as a random romantic anime that has no respect of a proper construction of a storyline. =b It's all about surviving the day in the institute with all the eerie things and events that happening. It's a light RP, only you have to follow the conditions of the day and your role.

The RP have a four hour day schedule system. A new day starting at 7pm when it is announced at the start of the RP, and night starting at 5pm two hours after. There should be two days for each day that it starts at average.
For each day, there is a random event that takes effect throughout the day. They may range from twilight brier infestation, maintenance, random possession, or turning into a zombie upon death.

Anyone can join the RP at anytime by filling out their character sheet before hand. But like everyone that joins, they have to give up a little bit of their sanity. But be aware that outside visitors are considered to have entered the PK zone. Meaning while RP participates can be killed by RP means which they have to follow the death procedures to be revived, visitor are kicked into the game's respawn point.

3.RP Classes

There are many types of people that occupies the facility. But the ones mention here are the important classes that's resides there.

-Residents
Residents have jobs and symptoms.

-Twilight Shades

The twilight shades are the trouble making ghost that makes the institute go round. They reside on the opposite realm of the institute. Who they are, what they want is yet to be known.

Anyone that dies in the institute will have to wait at the twilight prison to be revived. Before going, they have to create a pushable dead/sleep character icon before warping there. This is simple as placing the "body", you type 'go-to-start', move down, and go to "SI:twilight prison".
The body will have to be carried to the rehabilitation room to be revived by a doctor class. Once revived, the player is called to come back on "tell" which they then warp to "SI:revive". The warp point should be located under the place of revival.

This roles doesn't imply during Zombie Revival event by the way, as the victim will simply turn into a zombie and wreak havoc throughout the facility.

6. Day by day events

When the new day is announce, the event will remain secret until a condition is fulfilled, or discovered. Meaning, the resident will continue to do what they are doing until a problem occurs.

Example events.

Twilight Brier - This event is started by a notorious brier shade and hides in a random room within the institute. Their job is to spawn and cover the place with briers, trapping random resident that foolish to get themselves surrounded. They are to stay contained, or eliminated until the day is up.

Possession - Some shades are only try to communicate with the real world, while some are in for some serious trouble. The role play may take many forms, from a familiar love from the outside world talking to a targeted player through another, to a homicidal killer tormenting their host to get what he wants.

Zombie Distortion - Sometimes the realm of the twilight and the real world align in such a way that no one can truly die during the day. When such an event is in effect, the dying player is told in the "tell" that the event is in an effect. Then the play would become a hostile, semi-conscious zombie hunting down the players, or exact revenge.

There can be multiple events going at once so be aware...
