Best Gen; Jhoto is the best Gen and you know it

All the others (with the slight exception of the 1st gen) suck o.o I think I fixed it. 1st gen was classic and the hardest. 2nd was just so... Epic I guess. They pulled it off almost perfectly when it was released. 3rd gen was ok... But most of the Pokemon weren't so rememorable except for the few Pokemon that you'd find in any in-game R/S/E team. 4th gen tried to bring back features from GSC (day and night, specifically) and just about did so, but more of the Pokemon weren't that creative. Specifically the starters. And there were too many legends (about 14 were introduced in D/P, AND there's the possibility of a new Shaymin form and a confirmed Giratina form).

My favorite gen is the 4th Gen so far, with Johto being my least favorite.. Johto just seems so old-fashioned, even when compared to Red/Blue. The Pokemon in Johto are really boring, most of them being ones that I don't like like Smoochum and Wobuffet.. And it introduced Baby Evolutions, which ruined the possibility of the third evolution for Pokemon like Magmar and Electabuzz.. Johto just seems like a filler region for me.. 4th Gen not being creative enough? What's so creative about a Bonsai tree? What's so creative about three dogs? What's so creative about a Pheonix that controls the sun.. Too many legendaries? Since when was that a bad thing? It just means more hard-to-catch Pokemon instead of going LUL ULTRABAWLZ and catching everything in sight.. And now I wait for Opal.. Edited by Patchouli Knowledge, 21st April 2008 - 11:20 AM.

Jhoto had six legendaries.. Six. Kanto might be the least, at Five legendaries, but it's still a few. Hoenn had 10 Legendaries. Sinnoh has 14. Two are Event Legendaries. I didn't really like Johto's starters either.. Chikorita is the only starter that is almost purely female, and can even only be chosen by Females in the PMD series, Cyndaquil.. What the crap is it anyway? The only one of the three that is even slightly good is Totodile, which is one of the only good Pokemon in the whole region. Good Pokemon in Kanto: All but Lickitung and Jynx Good Pokemon in Johto: Totodile&Evos, Crobat, Natu&Xatu, Dunsparce, Scizor, Trio, Tyranitar, and Lugia. Good Pokemon in Hoenn: All of them but Jirachi, but barely. Good Pokemon in Sinnoh: All of them but Chimchar&Evos and Lickilicky In my opinion, at least. Put 'em to sleep or paralyze them, weaken 'em to a sliver of their health, and chuck Dusk Balls / Timer Balls / ULTRA BAWLS LUL constantly. --- Erm Cyndaquil seems to be some sort of ant-eater/hedgehog/porcupine mixture or something. I'm not that sure, just that it seems to be one of those... Yes, what the crap IS a Cyndaquil? Eh PMD2 allowed you to pick Chikorita even if you're male. PMD2 allows you to get any starter Pokemon regardless of gender, despite PMD1.
