A: The Modern Compacted Pantheon is a modern attempt to compact all of the gods of history into 26 deities, with each god ruling over a certain thing. For example, Chi, God of Wisdom, is a compacted form of the god(desse)s Thoth, Athena, and so on. Tun, God of Invention and Craftsmen, is the compacted form of Ptah, Hephaestus, and further so on. Q: Why does this matter? A: Religion is a staple point of many people's lives, and serves as explanation for things that we cannot understand. Q: We already understand nearly everything, religion is near-useless. A: If you understand almost anything, think of this. Why is the grass green? Why is it shaped like it is? Grass could've been shaped like small aerosol cans for all we know. It is the gods that cause such balance and order, and create that which we call the laws of our world. Why does water evaporate? Heat. But why DOES it evaporate BECAUSE of heat? Why doesn't it turn purple instead? That is an example of the purpose of the gods, to create the basics of our world, and let it unfold before them.
