Legends of Fantasy, Book One: Camo's Story
Prolouge
As usual, after grieving over what had happened to my father because of me, I went for a walk stroll in the forest. How one person creates a warp in time and space, nearly conquering the world in the process, I don't know. All I know is that he became obsessed with power and I had to stop him. I fled the kingdom after that. I couldn't bear to think about what would happen if the townsfolk knew that I was a 17 year old elf that knew powerful, ancient magic, and killed their king with it.
Since then, I've been using an alias. I call myself Camo.
-End Prolouge-

So yeah, this is the prolouge of the story I'm writing. It's based off of an RP that my friends and I made.
Don't worry if this confuses you, Chapter 1 will be explaining a bit more about the past story, and even telling you the boy's real name. (Yes, this is what I based my nickname off of.)
I'm hoping to get Chapter 1 posted sometime tomorrow before I go out of town for the weekend.
Feel free to leave comments about the story, and tell me if you see anything that could possibly be worded better.

WALK IS A BORING WORD. USE STROLL. KNOW WHY? IT HAS THE WORD TROLL IN IT. *trolls*

I will delete this post if you want me to.

Chapter One: Remembering
Sitting on a stump, I gazed up at the night sky, to suddenly be flooded with memories of the past. The group that my father formed... He called it Organization X. They created a portal through time... and joined forces with Organization XIII. This truce between the two organizations did not last long, however, as the two organizations were exact opposites of one another. However, after a boy named Sora destroyed Organization XIII, my father's organization quickly gained power and authority.
Back then, I was still named Daniel. How I wish I could go back in time... to before my friend Sean and I defeated my father...
-End Chapter One-

Yes, I know that this has a Kingdom Hearts reference in it. After all, the roleplay that this story is continuing is a Kingdom Hearts roleplay with custom characters, based in a different timeline. Unfortunately, this is as much as I will tell you about the RP.
What will these organizations have to do with the story? What about the recently mentioned protagonist Sean?
Guess you'll have to wait to find out.
I'll try to have the next chapter up sometime before I leave.

Chapter Two: The Forest
I must have fallen asleep. It's morning now, but the clouds overhead show signs of oncoming rain. The forest was strangely quiet today, almost as if time itself had been frozen in place. A shriek of terror comes from the distance, and immediately I realize that something has gone amiss. I can sense the immense amount of dark mana that is gathering here. Someone..... or something... is terrorizing my hometown.

-End, Chapter Two-

Yes, I realize the first two chapters have been quite short. In return, I have made the third one a bit larger.
What is terrorizing Camo's hometown? Will he be able to save it?
You'll have to find out in the morning.
Yes, this will for sure be my last post for the night.

Any comments? Challenges for me as to how long I should make the story in a certain amount of time? Feel free to post them here.

Note: Chapter Three will most likely require more than one post. Be patient please, and I'll try to post chapters as soon as possible.

Chapter Three: Homeward Bound
I'm afraid.... The rain has finally come. The entire forest has been filled with an immense amount of despair, crushing the spirits of all those inside it. For some reason, I feel as if I'm being stalked. I quickly glance behind me, but to no avail. There was nothing there. It was a bad time to look back, because as I turn back, I am instantly struck by a blunt blow to the head, and fall unconcious.
***
As I awaken, I sense that the amounts of dark mana have grown. As I observe my surroundings, I find that I'm in a cavern. Whoever had captured me must have left, giving me a chance to escape this horrible dungeon. I race out of the room, only to find that I'm trapped in a serious of connecting rooms and tunnels, like a maze. There doesn't seem to be anyone here, and I can't find my way out...
I've found a piece of paper. As I pick it up, I notice that there is writing on the back. It seems to be a poem, which reads:
Knock, knock goes the door.
We knock one out and search for more.
One hit is all it takes.
Those stupid elves made a big mistake.

I'm speechless. This shocking poem explains what was happening in the village, and also what had attacked the village.
Finally. Studying goblins paid off. But this wasn't the time to think about that. I needed to get home as fast as I could.
*** Three hours later ***
Still no exit. This is hopeless. At this rate, it will be too late by the time I make it to the village, especially if anything else were to happen.
I have two teleportation scrolls in my backpack... But the question is, is it a good idea to use one now? ...Or is this going to be a terrible mistake..? I guess there's only one way to figure it out...
-END CHAPTER THREE-

First, sorry for not managing to post any more of the story in a while.
At first, I had decided to shorten this chapter by cutting it off after the poem and making the next part Chapter Four, but I wanted to make this chapter longer than the first two, so I changed my mind.

So, Camo used one of his only ways out of a tight situation.
Was this a terrible mistake?
Are more surprises waiting for Camo back home?
We'll have to wait and see.

Chapter Four: Return to the Forest
There's no turning back now. I've used the teleportation scroll already. The scroll seems to have sent me back to the stump that I had fallen asleep on earlier. I'm pretty close to the village now. It's dark outside... I wonder if it's too late to save everyone. The forest is silent for a few moments... that is, until the war cry of a goblin shatters the eerie, quiet feeling. I'm being ambushed. Perfect. That is exactly what I needed... I can still see the village in the distance.... I just hope this doesn't take too long...
***
50 goblins have approached me. I take out several of them with fire magic, only to be attacked by goblin swordsmen from behind. It wasn't a very good hit however, and I recover quickly, slashing at the goblin fiends who had attacked me. I easily fell three goblins, and turn back to the front. "Thundaerorangun!" I shout, and instantly, a cyclone infused with powerful lightning magic kills many of the remaining goblins.
I carefully defeat the rest of the goblins, and tread forward cautiously.
***
Great. Now I'm in trouble. More goblins have arrived. This time however, they aren't all low-ranked goblin soldiers. Some of these goblins can even cast magic. And to make things worse, one of the goblin leaders has even arrived. Today is just not my day.
-END CHAPTER FOUR-

So yeah, I ended up combining two chapters again. However, I think this will probably be the last time I'll do that.
Camo just isn't getting a break.
Will he survive?
Or will he fail to defeat the goblin leader?

Chapter Five: One... Ten... A Thousand...
As if my day couldn't get worse. There had to be at least a thousand goblins out there. Possibly even more. I have no idea how I'll ever manage to get rid of them all.
*** Later ***
After several spells, and many slashes from my sword, I've finally reduced the remaining goblins to roughly a fourth of their original number, healing myself if I needed to. However, as I look around, a glimpse of white darts past me, easily finishing off the rest of them. I feel quite happy- well rather, I did, until I realized what the glimpse of white actually was. Now that I've figured that out, today has officially become the worst day of my life. And I have a feeling that it isn't quite over yet...
-END CHAPTER FIVE-

After a couple of long chapters, this one is short.
What was the white object that Camo saw?
What did he mean by his day wasn't over?
