Posts: 62 Group: Member Member #235 Joined: February 11, 2009 Registered voter of: Unregistered Maze Items None	Alright, so we all know about this huge fight over Cy or whatever, and after much thought, I have come up with an idea that might ease tensions, and hopefully stop the fighting, but the key word here is Teamwork. My plan might call for some tweaking with governmental power, or maybe even a complete reform, but the effects, overall, should be positive. So, here's my idea: So, first up, seeing as Mech is the owner of the game/president, that Mech will share ownership powers, responsibilities, and so on, with Jolt, who, in turn, should be made Vice President. So, if Mech or Jolt wants to make a critical change to the game, they must talk about it first with eachother rather than just doing it out right. However, changes to map/code are entirely Mech's decision to make. (That should be obvious, anyway.) Now then, not only should power be shared between Mech and Jolt, but with all other GMs/ENFs too. There's a cute little thing in the U.S.A's government called Congress. I think that every GM/ENF should automatically be a member of the Congress of PAU. So when it comes to critical decision making for the game, the decision will pass down like this: First (For the example,) Let's say Mech wants to change something about the game that is very important. He will have to first talk to Jolt (Mr. Vice President,) about it. If/when Jolt agrees, Mech and Jolt will talk to all the members of congress present (The rest of the GMs/ENFs) and then hold a vote, and a vote message will be posted on the vote section of the Government board. When it comes to the voting in congress, MAJORITY RULES. So, let's say the idea for whatever change wins the vote. The change will be implemented, yaddah yaddah, blah,blah, and the rest. (If the idea doesn't win the majority vote, the change will NOT be allowed to happen.) So, what does everyone say to this? Remember, it's a system of sharing power, and somewhat a "Checks and Balances" system. What do you think? Yes, or no?

I think it's a wonderful idea, it's quite similar to the one I was trying to transition PAU to anyway. Although I honestly doubt that any of the separatists will agree with you idea.

If they want to disagree, that's fine and dandy, but I doubt they'd actually throw away a perfectly good chance to end it, as well as gaining a cut of the power, just for some stupid old fight. I'm pretty sure Mech would be willing to swallow his pride every once in awhile for what's right. For a start, you should swallow your own pride and look at the bright side. If this works, you'll have as much power as Mech, which is what you wanted, is it not?
