It doesnt state clearly that it's best out of three. Every tournament that uses the best out of three(even our regular meetups) clearly mention best out of three. People could take the 2 wins as something to do with the doubles elimation, so yeah. |

We had a poll, announced it on the poll, and i told everyone to read the opening post which is considerably shorter, and points out what sweep mentioned. I still can't comprehend why people can't read, it's a simple task we learn in year 1, so try pay attention when I point out we need to read the opening post, it makes this tourney flow a lot faster... Anyway, Round 2 starts today and i know ninja pointed out he lost (pre re-battling playa for best 2/3) so i need to know who won overall and i can announce the matchups for the next round. |

Cream it didnt say best out of three it said 2 wins which could mean something else since it's a double elimination tournament. Don't accuse people of not being able to read when you can't write correctly. |

well he did write it correctly. i do agree it may come across as being vague but if someone says 2 wins to win the round it must mean the first player to get 2 wins wins the round. double elimination was also said separate to the 2 wins. |

Exactly, it was vague. And it should be "match" not "round". I had a brief look at the rules before playing the tournament so half of that's my fault but the rules should be set out clearly so it can be skimmed read. |

Put up your hand if you've read the edits on the opening post or rules post when asked? none, amen... The second post contains the rules, in clear dot points with a bit of elaboration... one of them reads...
That looks like two seperate points to me, not very vague either, just please read the rules or opening thread when i've announced they've been updated and we'll have no need to go over this again... EDIT: Okay now i've simplified the rules so hopefully we dont get complains, they read what they read before. And 2 wins to proceed is exactly the same as best 2/3, same shit different smell... Can we all please read over the rules post now... Edited by Cream, Jan 17 2010, 04:20 PM.

i wasnt complaining or disagreeing, just suggesting others may have had "trouble" reading the rules etc etc. but I thought it was easy enough. :) |
