well that's Radnen, not me... I really don't like the idea to tell you the truth, if anything please stray far from the 3 pokemon picker-upper... atleast do something like you get to choose between Dark, Light, Lunar type plus the rest of types of pokemon or something... the crappy starter 3 is always some form of grass, fire, or water poke... about the only one's i'll nod to is returning to the pokemon professor to get your license, because he is certified to give you one... if your doing a story-line it has to be alittle close to realism and dont stray too far into fiction or you'll lose the player... just like the fact Davince brought up awhile ago about everyone talking about pokemon in the game, everyone knows no one would be talking about pokemon all the time if it's part of their lifestyle, and it gets annoying for the player... Just like having 3 random a** pokes come to you outta nowhere hurt and you have to heal one... I would congratulate you though, cause it is a step up from the getting your pokemon from the professor stuff... and an eclipse member doesnt and shouldnt even have to show up till way later on in the game, maybe half-way, quarter at the least... anyways, i say better go back to the drawing boards... |

MetalMac, I'd say this plot is about as close as realism as any of the other Pokemon games... I'd rather say the problem lies in originality: just like having a prof introduce things and having all these samey characters in each game, it's a huge cliche to start out with a choice between 3 simple-type Pokemon. Don't get me wrong - I like the whole injured and fleeing part you got going there, but the way you're making the user pick between 3 in the end falls back to "done to death". EDIT: I almost forgot! Welcome to the forums, yummy food (by whom I mean teriyaki)!

No, you pick on to heal, but you bring them all back to the professor to be healed! You Save them! |

Oka... ??? I liked it because of the setup. You aquire them differently in this case. But, what I would like better is if they weren't grass/fire/water. Or three at all. My recommendation: Two pokemon, One lunar, One astral. If those are the new types? That's be better. |

Yeah, that's be better. Acquiring could also rely on you telling the professor a certain preference (like do you like the sun or the moon more? heh) and you automatically get the appropiate one later. But that might go against the "pick your favourite" principle which I've always seen in the originals... |

Ok, sorry isn't done. But I was waiting for your starter sprites. Well, I do believe IMPACT is the font used for the AZURE so the AZURE version will be modified. Also.. the pokemons to add in it or your starters? |
