It had been a long, LONG day. Recent stress about social issues had Addison stressed out. His anxiety was reaching a pinnacle recently. The days never seemed to end. He felt invisible to the whole academy. All he ever did was go to class, study in the library alone, eat, and attempt to sleep. The actual sleeping was the problem though.

Utterly exhausted by the lack of sleep that Addi had been experiencing, he decided that a break from studying in the library for a nap would be a good idea. It was only a few moments before Addison was asleep in a dark, secluded corner of the library.

He could hear nothing. It was dead silent. Everything was black. Addison couldn't feel himself. He didn't feel present. It was an out of body experience for him, something that he had never experienced in a dream.

A pair of eyes, could only observe. The darkness left just as quick as it had been fabricated. The scene flashed before his eyes. There was a beautiful waterfall. The sounds of the water crashing into a open pool of water was the first thing he could hear. There was no wind. The sun was just about to set, it seemed, and Addison could see himself sitting on a rock in the distance. Unable to alter his perspective of the scene, Addi could merely watch, out of body, as he watched himself sit on a rock near a sandy opening by the water.

There was something wrong. Addison couldn't figure it out from afar but it seemed he had no control over the situation.

In the distance, Addison noticed a tall, darkly cloaked figure. It watched far off. The scene went from serene to disturbing in a moment. Everything faded and Addison awoke.

There was something about this dream that seemed particularly important. He didn't think much of it though. His hair looking quite disheveled, he sat up, a bit of drool sliding down his face, to see someone coming toward him.

"Hey," Seth said, sorry to disturb the boy. He looked like he needed the sleep, and seemed to be in the process of exiting the foggy state of mind that comes when waking up. "I'm sorry I woke you up. I was studying over there, and the librarian said five minutes to closing, so I thought I;d come over and get you so you wouldn't get locked up in here." He smiled. "It's effin creepy when it shuts down in here, figured that you wouldn't be a fan." He moved in a sort of gesture to encourage the kid to walk with him, and added "I'm Seth, by the way. Rescuer of people in creepy libraries."

Addison was thoroughly embarrassed. He quickly wiped away his drool and composed himself. Thankfully, Seth was a very nice. At least that was the impression he gave. Addison knew people weren't necessarily what they seemed.

"Well, thanks Seth." Addison said with a chuckle at Seth's cheesiness. "I appreciate it." Addison started to pack his things. He didn't think about his dream since he was so consumed by his embarrassment. Little did he know that his dream would be the first of many times he'd see the soul collector.

Having packed his very things away, Addison stood up and looked around. He saw that the librarian was anxious to leave so he, too, hastened out of the library, not without saying "Thanks for letting me know the library was closing." He stopped, thinking it would be nice to establish a friendship with someone as nice as Seth had been. "Where are you headed?" Addison wanted to go back to his room and sleep. He was exhausted, even after his nap.

"Well I'm guessing you wanna finish up sleeping, so we just might be on the same route, except I'm going to the girl's wing." He had the decency to blush slightly. "Not that I do that sort of thing often...My girlfriend's waiting..." Oh God, he thought. Why don't I embarrass myself further and tell him I'm a shadower? And while I'm at it, I could start juggling books and sing show tunes... He smiled at Addison, ready to get going. Hopefully he didn't make too much of an idiot of of himself.

There was a spark of jealousy and curiosity that shot through his mind. Addison longed for attention. He always seemed to be seem through like glass. He never knew what it was like to be with a girl... as if anyone would ever show interest in him. That was his mentality at least.

Instead, he just chuckled and sighed. "Yea, I was gonna' head that way but I think i'm gonna' get some fresh air. I'll see you around. Thanks for the wake up call." Addison smiled and paced away awkwardly down the hall.

Seth watched Addison as he left. He had seemed a little depressed, in a way, but he seemed like a good kid. He called after him "Alright, dude. See ya around." Then there was nothing left to do but go see Dia. The thought of her made his heart beat faster, and he walked down the hall with confidence. He liked to help people, and Addison seemed like a kid that might need that.
