Welcome, one and all, to Plot Adventures! I am Prestwick Willows, the founder of this site, wishing you an awesome time here!

Right now you are viewing Plot Adventures as a guest so the first thing you want to do is register an account. This account may contain spaces so don't refrain from using a first and last name for your character. Once you've registered, read the rules which can be found here. Then, once you've read the rules you may also read over the plot we're featuring now entitled "The Soul Collector", drama about how a demon tries to unleash apocalytic events upon the world by capturing the essence of mutation enhanced souls.

Roam the site, chat with members and have fun!
Happy Plotting (More Plots on the way!!)

Sincerely,

First and foremost, Welcome to Plot Adventures. This is a Role-Play site with multiple plots and storylines for you to enjoy. We're happy you're considering joining and we look forward to your creativity.

I'm going to try and make this informational post as short as possible. It's your job to ask questions and if you've read this board and you still have questions feel free to ask. Above all else, we Admins want all users to abide by the rules which can be found here. There are a few simple rules. Nothing too strict.

The next thing you should do is read over the plots we have featured. Some can be a bit lengthy but I find them quite interesting.

If you're new to forums there are a few things you will need to know. I'm going to try to condense everything into a short and easy to understand summary. Plot Adventures is divided into sections. The first section is what we call "OoC" which stands for "Out of Character". What OoC means is that people post there to talk to one another about various subjects. Sometimes these subjects may be questions to admins or conversations with other members. The following divisions are know as "IC" or "In Character". IC means that people are writing or have written stories pertaining to their specific characters. Here you will find multiple plots that you can register for and play!

A question you might be asking yourself is "What is a Board". To my understanding, an IC board is a story you and another user, or even multiple users have created.

Now that you know about Plot Adventures and the you have a general understanding of how the site is divided, you have to determine now who your character will be. The first thing you should do is register a name. Your name MUST be the name or nickname of your character that you will be role-playing. If a space is necessary to separate the characters first or last name, you may use one. However, a space is not necessary.

Once you've registered a name, you will now choose to log in so that you can fill out a "Character Profile" for a specific plot. A character profile is your description of your character. To help guide you along in defining your character, we have made templates for you that you can copy. All of the template can be found in the sections divided into each plot. If you plan to make your character a teacher, you make also choose to do that as well. Just make that detail known in your character profile. Then proceed to answer all the questions in the template. Once you do so, you should click the "post new topic" button. Once you do that, Prestwick Willows will approve your character if they meet the requirements.

Some of you may be thinking, "WAIT! WHAT ABOUT THE THINGS I SHOULD POST IN MY CHARACTER PROFILE!" Everything is up to you. You can make your character any way you'd like. Your character can look like anything they may dress any way, they may act any way, etc. In some plots, a character endowed with a special superhuman ability may be required. A powers list is located here. Any power I can think of is listed there. Next to all the powers is a description. All the guidelines for powers are described in the aforementioned power's link.

"What about my history." You can creatively fill that out as well. Whatever you choose is fine.

"Where am I aloud to post?" You can post anywhere. I have personally placed blocks on places where you cannot post.

So, that is pretty much everything basic. Remember, if you have any questions, ask an administrator! We're happy to answer any questions! We're all human and make mistakes so go crazy! We're an odd bunch here so have fun with it!

Happy Role-Playing!
