MANILA, Philippines -- Cebu Archbishop Ricardo Cardinal Vidal said they will come up with a list of congressmen who have been batting for the passage of the Reproductive Health (RH) bill and distribute it to their parishioners.

This way, Vidal said people will know who among re-electionist congressmen are "anti-life."

Black mailing at it's finest. ^o) ^o) Why the church is butting in on state business is beyond me.

Nobody cares about threats over the internet. Don't try to act hardcore with the keyboard. Fighting online is like running in the special olympics - Even if you win, you're still retarded.

You think it's real, but reality doesn't show it's true self to anyone.

q: which is the dirtier work, allowing abortion or distributing the list?

^If the RH bill wanted to legalize abortion on a very contextual level, it is dirtier. But it's doesn't.

Either way, it doesn't matter whose more "dirtier" Church being dirty? That by itself doesn't sound very religious.

q: does that mean that we shouldn't go with the church because it's being dirty?

fuq: what would you suggest the church do instead?

^Nowhere in my post suggests anything that people should not "go with the church" because it's being dirty. The post implied that being dirty, the church is beginning to contradict it's own principles.

By saying "go with the church" I'm assuming you want people to side with the church even though it's resorting to blackmail. I don't think i can stomach to still side with people do who those things, after all they are also just humans - and just like any other human they also make mistakes. God knows how many "witches" they burned and tortured in the past.

I suggest that the church leave the mud slinging to the politicians and try to separate themselves from state matters as it's supposed to be. No one is forbidding them to voice out opinion and criticize state matters, but they are crossing the line by resorting to blackmail.

Alucard: Indeed. But you must always remember that the only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.
