Hey. I recently got into photography while on a trip to San Fransisco. I got a decent camera. Not professional quality but it works and takes nice photos.(a lot nicer than the my older camera.

My camera is a Nikon Coolpix. It specs(or whatever) ar as follows. 10.0 megapixels VR&ISO 3200 2.7 inch LCD Wide 4x zoom/28-112mm.

Not the greatest but it works.

Any camera works as long as it successfully takes a photo!

Thank you.

I'm putting a better camera on my Christmas list. Along with a 360, a PS3, and a ferrari. :p Nah, I'm only joking about the PS3 and the car.

The camera's good, but sometimes, quality is a little hard to get right.

Well, It's gotta be Nikon. That's for sure. I haven't yet really put much effort into the search.

Hehe, boy am I prepared. :P

Sorry, it has to be Canon. :P

Nikon D40 would probably be an awesome place to start looking. Of course this is a DSLR, something that is quite a big step up, but a nice one, you won't go back after using DSLR's.

You should mess around with it.:P The D40, shouldn't be too hard to figure out. Most buttons are just there for menus that most don't really care about. Their surprisingly similar to a computer.

If you can get your hands on it, see how good of pictures you take...you'll probably be suprised the first time you click the shutter button when using full auto.
