Have you ever done some long exposures before? If so how did they turn out? :)

My camera doesn't have a long expsure setting. But i have seen my dads friend do it and they looked really nice. Especcially the waterfall ones.

Yah, waterfalls can turn out really nice.

Most Point and Shoots let you adjust shutter, do you think it can go as slow as 1/20, 1/10, 1/8th?

Well, I have an exposure setting but all it does is change the brightness.

And yeah, i can get to those settings.

That's...weird... :hmm:

If you can get the shutter speed down to like 1/20th, or any of those I stated, getting nice shots of waterfalls won't be too hard. :)

Well, first I need a tripod. But if I'm getting a better camera, I'm not gonna get one until then.

I don't know about coopix, but most tripods should be universal to all cameras...I took one and put it on our crappy point and shoot, then on our good point and shoot, and then on my DSLR...all worked about the same.

Well, some of the tripods I've seen have a click into form and my little dinky wonder can't do those. All it's got is the screw in.

I think I got a two in one deal...hard to tell though....it has a screw function, but I never use it.
