Okay, Forum Center is my very first resource and advertising forum. I really need ideas on how to begin. Please, give me your suggestions and your ideas. I don't even know how to begin.

Why did you create a forum when you don't even know how to control it and get the ball rolling? That's your first fault.

Advertise. Go to other sites.. become a healthy poster, then advertise saying something like “Join Forum Center, we've got a lot to offer you form FREE advertising FREE skins, graphics etc..” I don't know what you'd say, that's just an example.

And make sure you don't start with an empty forum. Make a couple dummy accounts and post off them to make your forum look like someone is actually interested. Start small.. end up big! Its the only advice i can give you. Good luck!

How will I ever learn if I don't try first? ;)

And thanks a lot for your advice. I'm already doing what you're saying. I'm gonna try and be a good poster here and on Outline.

You'll need more than here and Outline to survive. Just google advertising forums and just use the first few million pages as your sites.

Okay, I'll do it on a couple of forums, since I will pay for a .com domain name and advertising.

I see you asking on the offline board for what amounts for 22 staff which is so not need when first started out. You start out with just yourself and maybe a few and add more staff as demand for services increase.

I found working at other boards first( it's what I did) is how you make the first friends who join your boards and help out with posting and such.

Making fake accounts imo makes you look pathetic and I wouldn't recommend it.

Probably one or two for starters. It really all comes down to what your userbase is going to want from you as you aren't going to know this till you open.

Service staff would run whatever services you offer and help with the forum itself.

Theme designers can help make a new theme if you need one and gfx designers can hep make forum graphics and advert graphics for you to use when advertising.

Service team usually runs whatever services you offer( outside of gfx and theme request as they have their own teams to help run those services.

Support team woudl most likely be offering support if you decide on having a forum for asking support related questions about their boards.
