i like Hp's I do believe they are great.
I have a hp tx 2000 touch screen with 4 gigs of ram and 160 harddrive

I've had a Compaq for a while now, and it's served me well.

Custom is best for sure, but I find that HP, Gateway and Acer are all fairly decent as well. :)

I agree that custom is best (providing you know what you are doing). :D Failing that, Packard Bell and Sony.

As for HP, if their devices (e.g. printers) are anything to go by then their computers really aren't worthwhile. For example, a HP printer requires many programs just to get full functionality out of the printer--these programs slow the start-up of the PC and lag the PC during use. And don't get me started on their drivers for their cameras. :angry:

Don't worry, HP Printers are nothing like the computers. And let's be realistic, are there really any decent printers out there that don't cause someone some trouble? :P
