Not sure what event is next on the ALMS. but on the European Le Mans Series, the first two are the 8h of the french, Le Castellet circuit and then the Spa Francorchamps before the 24h Le Mans de la Sarthe. So nothing on the european front. The last race (and only doable race in Forza, sadly) on the Le Mans Series is Silverstone, but that's way back in August so... I think that Road Atlanta and Laguna Seca are before the Silverstone. |

ALMS still use Road America don't they? And obviously there is the big one - Le Mans... Other than that, we are limited for Le Mans races... I would love to see a GT2 race at Petit Le Mans (Road Atlanta) though!!!

me and jags had a quick talk about this before and we worked out that there is one big endurance race each month over the summer so this could be something to look into. There is the 1000km race at Nurburgring but im not sure if its being run this year. Another problem that may arise is the car selection as many of these endurance events use the same cars and it may limit creativity |

I think we could build up GT2 cars from their road versions. This would give us: Ferrari Porsche BMW Corvette Aston Martin Panoz Ford Jaguar e.t.c. So loads of variety, and we could easily balance them by modifying them... |

24 hours of Lemons Nasty. Brutish. Not Short Enough. The crowd. The spectacle. The pall of blue smoke and roasted clutch discs. In all motorsport, no event captures the universal human need to whale on old crapcans and hoover down greasy barbecue like the 24 Hours of LeMons. Each LeMons race is for cars purchased, fixed up, and track-prepped for a total of 500 dollars or less. But before reaching the grid, you'll have to survive trials like the Personal-Injury-Lawyer Anti-Slalom, the Marxist-Valet Parking Challenge, and the Wide Open Throttle Rodthrowapalooza. Twelve hours into the race, the car voted People’s Choice is called in and awarded a cash prize; simultaneously, the car voted People’s Curse is called in and summarily destroyed. At the end of 24 hours, a gala awards ceremony plies the survivors with trophies, plaques, and four-figure purses in canvas bags full of nickels. What's not to like? Lemons Rules |

Someone was trying to set this event up before at RCOM, and had a detailed car list and everything for it. I can't remember who it was. One of the GTI guys I think. Can you let me know if it was you and if you still have the car list and event details handy. |
