looking at the amount of drivers qualified (18) the only fair way to split the lobbies would appear to be a 6-6-6 split, would like to hear others opinions though |

I think we should aim to fill up as high as possible in the lobbies, and we should allow non qualifiers to start at the back of the grid maybe? |

I with jam only because I'm biased with the 7th spot ![]() lol but I think we should allow non-qualifiers to start like Fernando and others. |

I agree, we can let non-qualifiers start at the back of the grid if they show up (order based on points). The lobbies will be evened out as much as possible however. Although I know the lobby 1 guys want a full lobby (as do the bubble people), it isn't fair to guys in lobby 3 to be racing with 2 or 3 others. If people show up before the race that haven't qualified, can someone please qualify them. I won't be able to show up until right around race time. |

I agree with letting people who havnt qualied start at back, but if we go with as we are 6-6-6 this is were the 'lag out rule' can fustrate people, For example, i respectively qualied 8th, therefore i 'should' be in lobby 1, but because of other people not qualifying and being inactive in shoved to lobby 2, (not a problem) so best i can get is 6th - 7th place, Now when some one, or a few people lag out in lobby 1, i can stil only get, 6-7th place, but if i was in lobby one, my position could have been higher especialy because i earnt that lobby 1 spot but was taken away due to other people!! Im not complaining and i see were your coming from, as its no fun racing 3cars, but its the midfield and 'bubble' placed cars that are getting the 'blunt end of the deal' Do you see were im coming from? |

I agree Rusty but the problem mainly is the very limiting 8 people per lobby thing. I wish they had gone with more but they didn't which really hampers alot of racing. |

Lagging out is bad enough as it is, and in some occasions drivers have been allowed to retain their positions, e.g: Alex in the 250hp. So, I think being dropped to the back of a lobby is a penelty enough as it is. Especially as lag is not deliberate. |

I know were your comin from jam! I was just stateing my opinion! Ill also be annoyed if some one who qualifies between now and the race pushes me down to lobby 2, Rules are rules and dead lines are deadlines! You dont see them letting teams qualify just before the start of the F1 or BTCC! |

Exactly, which is why I think they should be allowed to start, but only from the back of the grid... Otherwise it isn't fair on others... |

Whilst I see your point of view Rusty, I also agree with Jam that it can be enormously frustrating lagging out and people shouldn't be overly penalised for something beyond their control. It would also cause problems to change the rules at this time. |

I understand everyone would like to race in a full lobby but is this fair.... for example say 2 people who didnt qualify, start at the back of the grid in lobby 3, either one or both turn out to be quite fast then beat everyone else. Is that then fair on the rest of the guys in lobby 3 who actually made the effort to qualify? |

No it isn't, however this is a casual league, so is it fair to expect members to cancel other real life arrangements and bend over backwards to meet qualifying procedures? |

Fair point jam real life comes first and there are some things that just cant be factord for, but i cant see how we are bending over backwards to qualify? with 2 days and a time of your choice plus 2 weeks between races. As we are a casual league surely a qualifying time can be posted anytime in the 14 days between races. Im not trying to stir things up lol i just walked into the debate and thought i had an important point that needed to be made. |

Well I didn't make that rule, Jags suggested that we can still qualify. I am just trying to support him lol... To be honest, I think that it is in my opinion fair to make them start at the back, but thats a difference of opinion. You can't justify forcing them onto the sidelines. |
