If people PM me as Sir Guy of Gisbourne or William Smith I'll edit this with things i've left out...i just thought with people joining all the time and many subplots developing, we should have a place to keep everything together! This is a summary of the plot lines, and does not include every post or conversation - even though it's often the conversations which are the gold! Day One: Carter's wound opens in the pub, and Jocelyn, Padmine, and Allan take him back to camp, where Jocelyn and later Djaq tend it. Cara arrives in Nottingham and sleeps under the stars. Marian has been helping the poor, despite her still not entirely healed stomach wound, in a new pseudonym as The Raven Queen. Guy comes across Kitty in the meadows and tries to arrest her for carrying a sword. She and Much knock him out. Vaysey tells Guy to find Allan and raid the forest - which Guy has no real problem with, really. He's been brooding a lot. Guy's guards (William Smith and Giles Thatcher)discover that Guy "killed" Marian in the holy land. Day Two: Guy's guards march on Sherwood Forest and Guy wounds Allan. Guy and Robin have a yelling match (with extra topping of angst) and Guy nearly kills Robin, but is stopped by Marian firing an arrow at him. He believes that it was her ghost. William Smith (Guy's captain) is wounded. Kitty and Nicola of Locksley - who was following the guards from the village - are captured and taken to Nottingham. There the two girls are tortured. An aborted attempt by Luke Scarlett to rescue them singlehandedly results in the young outlaw's death. Eleri and Cara manage to get Eleri a position working at the Trip to Jerusalem Inn. Carter has also broken into the Castle and is looking for information. He finds himself in the chapel where he meets Jocelyn (who returned during the fight). Eleri's husband Gareth is now working in the stables, and finds himself confronted with Eden, the ewerer and laundress. They are interrupted by Felicia, who comes looking for Eden when she spends longer than expected away from her work. Meanwhile, back in Locksley, Allan - believing that the gang think he betrayed them - goes to one of the villagers for help. her name is Old Sally, and she stitches him up. However, he is seen leaving her house by Guy - brooding under a tree - and Guy threatens to punish Sally for helping the outlaw. Allan is taken to the stables where he is viciously beaten by Guy in preparation for being taken to Nottingham. William and Giles tell Nicola's sister Louise of Locksley that her sister is imprisoned. William and Allan come to an understanding. Robin and Marian are on their way to Locksley where they will meet Carter and discuss just how they are going to break Kitty and Nicola from gaol before they are hanged. Carter meets them on the road and gets them up to speed. Osric of Derby arrives in Nottingham. Vaysey and he discuss the hanging, and we see that he has ambitions towards Guy's position. Father Anthony is dispatched by The Abbess to Nottingham to administer the last rites to the prisoners and oversee the hanging. He comforts Nicola and Kitty and is appalled by he conditions in the gaol cells. Jocelyn and Felicia bump into each other in The Corridors while Sotiria looks on. Lady Gabrielle and Lady Elizabeth meet in the streets and return to the castle together, where they come upon Sotiria. plotline abandoned Lady Elena rides out to Kirkleys to seek solace and advice from The Abbess. Day Three: In the early hours, Guy and Giles take Allan to Nottingham. Guy runs into Jocelyn in the corridors. She gives him a poultice for his foot after it was trodden on by his horse. THeir exchange is watched by her maid Beth and a concealed Carter, who misunderstands the situation and confronts her about it. They argue, they almost confess their mutual attraction, but shy away from it, after a BAMWALLSLAM (tm) moment and a kiss. Carter leaves Nottingham. Meanwhile, Guy is taking an unconscious Allan away to be kept until after the hanging and comes across Marian, who taunts him a second time, despite the fact that he is clearly reeling from finding her alive. When the sun rises Nicola and Kitty are taken to the gallows. Vaysey and a selection of nobles watch as the girls are almost hanged, but rescued in the nick of time. Wilfred a'Dale arrives in Nottingham to look for his sons and witnesses the rescue. Cara attempts to rob Luke of Locksley and ends up killing him. Osric almost captures Marian but is stopped by Sotiria. Guy is viciously attacked by The Goose. William Smith rides out to the villages to break the news of the guards' deaths to their families. He returns to Locksley mid-morning. He sees Louise of Locksley trying to dig her husband's grave, and goes to help her. Meanwhile, Giles Thatcher indulges in a spot of mild flirtation with Eden of the bathwater. The gang carry Nicola of Locksley and Kitty back to camp, where Djaq begins to see to their hurts. Felicia is attacked and beaten by Osric. Marian and [/b]Robin work through their fears and emotions of the day. Will goes to find them to bring them back to camp. Guy transfers Allan to the dungeons. He conflicts with Father Anthony who has taken Luke Scarlett's corpse for burial. Guy tells Sheriff Vaysey about the capture, and they return to torture the man who betrayed them. Vaysey and Guy torture Allan. Felicia speaks to Father Anthony in the Courtyard. Wilfrid a'Dale returns to the Trip, where Cara and the The Fool - recently arrive in Nottingham both try to lift the purse of a brawler. Both manage to get clear of the inn though and they introduce themselves. Gareth and Eleri meet briefly in the Trip. Wilf goes to the castle to try and track down his son or Gisbourne - who he still believes is his son's master. He meets with a rather unimpressed Guard No.17. Giles takes the Locksley guard back home. He tells William that Marian is still alive, and then they go back to Nottingham, where the captain in a fury attacks Allan. His friend pulls him off though, and they both go to drown their sorrows in the pub. Beth - Jocelyn's maid - takes her bloodstained dress to Eden to be washed. Guy finds Marian's wedding ring in the corridor. He then goes to the washing rooms and sends Eden to tend to Allan. She does so. Evelyn. Kitty and Nicola go walking in the woods and Kitty collapses. Little John takes her back to camp. Marian tells Will that his brother is dead. Djaq comes looking for her beloved, and exchanged information. Jocelyn asks Vaysey for permission to visit Broomfield. It is granted, adn she rides out. The torture of Allan continues. Guy sends the messenger - Bryce of Stoke to Kirkleys to find out if Marian ever did seek to take Holy Orders there. On the way there, he becomes lost and meets Nicola who guides him to the Abbey where she identifies Luke Scarlett's body, and Bryce receives Guy's answer. This bit is very much condensed. Djaq and the outlaws devise a plan to get Allan out. Kitty goes to Kirkleys to recover. Sir Edwin arrives in Sherwood and is temporarily deprived of his horse. Jocelyn meets with the outlaws and then returns to Nottingham so that the plan to rescue Allan can commence. Bryce brings Guy his answer. Osric and the Sheriff are getting drunk, Guy - with a sore hand after a run in with Osric - and Jocelyn try to out-seduce each other. The sun sets. William and Giles, now totally drunk, wander the streets. Bryce goes to the pub also. Guy and Jocelyn kiss. Guy leaves, Joce follows, they kiss again, they talk. Jocelyn is covering for the outlaws, who in a beautifully executed and stunningly successful escape, break Allan from gaol. William and Giles end up back at the castle. Day Four - in progress IT STARTS TO SNOW MID-MORNING. William and Giles wake up, very hungover, with no idea as to how they got into the castle. While Giles is off finding breakfast, William is joined by Felicia. They talk. ;D Afterwards, he goes to Katherine Newbury the head maid, and tells her to keep an eye out for Felicia. The Abbess gives Kitty a tour of the Abbey Conclave. Meanwhile, in Court, several of the noblewomen (Jocelyn, Elena, Grace, Cristina, Elizabeth)gather. They are entertained by the musical stylings of Edonea and are joined by the newly arrived Edwin. Guy tells Joce that she must leave for Kirkleys. Guard No.17 tells Guy that outlaws were in the castle, and he discovers that Allan has been rescued. Too cowardly to face his master, Guy leaves the guard to tell Vaysey and goes to Locksley. There he confronts Old Sally, threatens to burn her house down, but is chased off by her general awesomeness. Nicola finds a rather wasted Bryce and takes him off to sober up. William and Giles set off into town. They pass the word that the Locksley guard is recruiting again and on the way out of town find out that Allan has escaped. They go to visit Giles' mother. Then Williamgoes on to Old Sally's house to tell her that he lost it a bit with Allan but that he would make sure it was safe for the outlaw to come there to recover. He also exchanges a chair (replacing one that Guy broke in hi tantrum) for some salves for Felicia's injuries. Meanwhile, Felicia is told that William's meeting with Katherine Newbury has stirred up rumours about the two of them. She is miffed, and also somewhat put out when told that there are also rumour about him and Ms Newbury. She heads out to visit the graves of her family. Bran of Gofannen - newly arrived in Nottinghamshire - seeks shelter at Locksley. He and Guy have a bit of shared history. Jocelyn arrives at the abbey and is reunited with Kitty and receives a fair bit of advice from The Abbess. Beth borrows a horse from the stables and heads into Sherwood to tell Robin about what has happened to her mistress. Instead she finds a still slightly inebriated and very beat-up Carter, tells him what has happened and leaves it in his hands. William, Ned and two other guards go out on patrol. They find Felicia, stranded having been thrown from her horse. William sends the guards home, and tries to help Felicia. Awkwardness ensues, they wind each other up, and then he sees her back to Nottingham. Sunset - though admittedly what with the snow and clouds and such it's hard to tell... In the dark of the night Carter creeps into the abbey. He finds Jocelyn, they agree to be Just Friends (tm). *** Edited by William Smith, Feb 27 2008, 02:41 PM.
