Woot... great idea

Obviously the camp and the gang need patching up again and stopped from falling apart, so i was thinking that as Robs is the leader he could have a chat with all the outlaws together and train them all up ready to fight

Then me, nwm and sf had planned on day five that a few of the gang could go and start feeding the poor, robbing nobles, etc.. Doing what outlaws do best... Of course, other ideas are welcome....

whoop great thread idea!!! Aye we should get some IC nobles to rob methinks on the forest roads, do some rounds in Nottingham Town/ the villages and we'll be sorted!

I'm all good for the outlaws chat LL! And I think it's good we're training up the less experienced outlaws because if they're all on closer levels of experience to each other there'll be less division...^_^

Hey everybody!

I don't mean to jump into your outlaw thread, but I thought the outlaws would want to know what is going on so they could choose sides.

Historically, and this is what I'm RPing, the people were taxed to help raise King Richard's ransom and bring him back to England. I posted some of the reasons why and some historical information in this thread if you wanted to know more about it: http://s1.zetaboards.com/nottingham/topic/573736/1/#new

So, the option is open to either support giving the money towards the ransom or giving the money to the poor. Unfortunately, helping the king and helping the poor do not coincide at the moment. I figured I'd bring this up and this could lead to some interesting plotting and character development - having to choose between King Richard and helping the poor.

Cheers! ^_^

is it april yet?

along those lines, if you want Robin to be an outlaw post-siege, you need to ge the ransom to the poor...

if you want Robin to get Locksley back and work from the inside for a while (with the option to be outlawed again later) you need to get the ransom to London...

Ooo, new info

Well, for now i quite like the idea of having Robin become a noble again post siege, then possibly later outlawed...

But woo for plotting...

Okay, well, lots of options for you:

LL - Hubert Walter was in the Holy Land; he was Richard's negotiator with Saladin, so as one of the King's personal guard, they would have known each other. If Robin wants to steal money and send it to London for the King's ransom, he is welcome to get in contact with Hubert directly. Or James Kevelioc has several people working for him in Nottingham at the moment, if Robin would rather work with them. Feel free to PM Hubert with any questions (that goes for any outlaws trying to help with the King's ransom).

But the Archbishop of Canterbury says if Robin starts stealing the ransom money he's trying to collect and giving it to the poor, he may just excommunicate the outlaw as well *snort*

And if Robin decides he wants to start giving to the poor after siege and kicks up a fuss about the taxes getting raised again when Richard goes off to fight in France, Hubert is more than happy to outlaw him again ;) . (eeerrrr...Hubert becomes Richard's Chief Justiciar...sorry...lots of history...)
