think of it like the security desk in a shopping mall, or the customer services desk in a supermarket! i for one will be frantically switching between accounts over the next few weeks, so i might totally miss a PM for help. So post any problems here, and i'll make a note to check back just in case! |

Okay, I feel totally stupid asking these questions, but you all seem like such a lovely bunch of people so I'll make a fool of myself just this once. For now at least. I've taken the plunge and made my first 'real' post to get myself into the groove and brush up on my writing (it's been ages since I've done anything but academic writing; I may be a little rusty). But since I am a totaly n00b when it comes to RP, I'm not sure how to go about actually interacting with people. Do I need to give warning through PMs? Can I just hop in and hope for the best? What's the etiquette? Is it different for different people? Thanks in advance for your help

okies, if you post in one of the more open threads (like the nobles stand int he jousting area) then just leap in and post yourself and anyone who's free will come chatter... but if you've been reading around and there's a character you want to RP with, send them a PM and see if they're busy with storylines and such... |

It's a bit of a shame that we don't really have a thread for the villager stands in the arena, that would have been a good thread to post in... I don't really have a lot of villagers that are present at the jousting grounds right now. I'd have loved to help! |
