So basically -- the joust is happening on the 1st March, RP time. Of course you'll all be notified, but as you all know there's the jousting grounds forum already up. Basically the joust itself can only have nobles as competitors - tourney knights. so if you want to take part in the JOUSTING itself -- (legally) or the masquerade ball (again, legally!!) then please make a new noble, if you havent got one already HOWEVER!! (dun dun dunnnnnn!!) Villagers and outlaws arent excluded. As a villager, you can run some stalls on the jousting grounds -- there is a subforum called "stalls" so if you want to reserve a "stall" then see the other jousting thread under the "Events" subforum but (now please read this at least, )Because the nobles have a plot in the fact that they are allowed the joust and masquerade ball, I was thinking maybe we should give the villagers and outlaws something to do. Especially the outlaws, who obviously can't run a stall and just have to mope around getting drunk in the beer tents (look Bryce I know that sounds good for you, but consider some outlaws! )So any suggestions for the outlaws in particular? I.e. crashing the ball, or trying to win the prize of the tourney by crashing the joust? |

LH, it depends on when everyone's ready and finished with their subplots -- then we'll start the joust. The joust will go on for a few days in RP time ... so a few RP days, and basically after that, it's to the Notts Castle great hall for a masquerade ball, Nwm, at the moment Im just trying to organise something that all the outlaws will agree on, i think it's best to give them something to do, if not the outlaws could always just mope around and nick some coins from nobles, but maybe it's better for a big outlaw subplot. Villagers could have jobs too. E.g. Gareth the stableman could look after the horses in the corrals, whilst some villagers could run a stall on the grounds, drink in the beer tents, meet and greet other villagers, watch the joust, etc |

Yep, but I don't think they should crash both - not to Vaysey's knowledge anyway, otherwise I think it would be too chaotic, and if they crash the joust outright, to anybody's senses, Vaysey will take extra precaution with the masquerade ball. Here's my proposal: JOUST - maybe the outlaws should just have some light relief and watch it - have some fun and move around, meet new people, pickpocket a few nobles, have a drink in the beer's tent. Remember the joust goes on for more than just one RP day. That way, it'll give us more time to gather the outlaws together, see who'll be active, etc. MASQUERADE BALL - now maybe we could plan something for this? I.e. because this IS a masquerade ball, most nobles won't tell they're outlaws if they manage to get a disguise and join in. For fun, they could just join in the masquerade ball and when we're all ready, spring a surprise attack/raid and do what outlaws do best.........be smug... lol |

Course, LH -- as a noblewoman i think they'd watch the joust and deffo attend the masquerade ball afterwards, I'm just rounding up names for who's up for what as an outlaw... I know I am, and Nwm's up for it, just waiting for more. |

I love your ideas Kenny! I can't wait for it to start. I'm hoping that Kitty will be well enough to go to the joust because she loves that kind of thing. I don't know if Ned is needed but I can play him if he is. Alice might pop along and meet some more people. I have no idea about Ellen... |
