| Character Keep-Up | Recently knighted, Jean used to be William Marshal's squire. Now he's a knight in the Marshal's household, after deciding that he wasn't quite ready to leave William's side; he's determined to repay William for whatever debt he holds. Personally, he thinks that William saved him by taking him under his wing as a squire when he was just a fourteen year old boy. The pair stayed with each other, both saving each other on occasions--Jean was loyal and he stuck to William like a wart. Now he's a knight, he should be his own man--but he'd miss William--and his wife Isabel--too much. So far, Jean's stayed with William for eight years. In that eight years, he's witnessed William grow into power-- a royal household favourite, and a well-known, honourable knight. Admiration has grown, and the pair's mutual respect grew--William regards him as a close, lifelong friend, and Jean the same. Arrogant, cocky, a thrill-seeker and bigheaded, Jean's also honourable, trustworthy, polite and respectful. ...Oh and he looks a bit like Gethin Jones! |
