Niwa's Recent News
  • 19 April 2015 -- Niwa is under new management!

Niwa is now under new management as we strive to stand up the the standards of fun and entertaining roleplaying we have so far provided here at Niwa. Today makes the start of a campaign to bring in new members as Head Admin Akaiken and Support Admin Sparky work together to improve and uphold the current face of Niwa and keep us all moving forward!

They said this was a city for our kind, they said it was a safe haven from the rest of the world. This was suppose to be the city where we where safe from regular humans. But, in a city where Meta-Humans run rampant, is there such thing as safety? When taking what you want is as simple as waving your hand, or closing your eyes, how can there be law? In this city, the truth is there is only one source of law, and that are the different criminal organizations that have formed all around us. The only order is that of the darkest part of humanity, of criminal organizations where the strong thrive while the weak gasp for air. This is Niwa Nights.. This is our home.

Can you survive it?

{Friday Night -- 10:55pm}

Ever since the Dusk opened, the Sky Lounge hadn't been hit with a rush of people till about midnight. The few girls that sat at the booths surrounding the dance floor sipped on their martini's and margarita's, waiting for unsuspecting men to approach them and ask them to dance. Not that the accumulation of men that gathered there were many. Iris could count them on one hand, and the with the other the amount of females in the lounge. It's why she stood out so much. A tight white dress that cut just at the midpoint of her thighs, and black boots that came up her calves. Her long, silk black hair fell down her back. The curls bouncing every time she'd turn to look at the elevator door that brought the customers to the lounge. Her piercing yellowing eyes catching each person's gaze as they entered and walked to the bar. She was obviously waiting for someone.

The only one that knew just how long she had been waiting was the bartender, who had a hard time keeping his eyes off of her. Granted the dress cut so low on her chest that she may as well have had her goodies resting on top of the dress, so who could blame him? Iris had been siting there for over two hours, waiting for her client. The VP of Microsoft was there seeing some website owner for some business and had specifically requested that Iris accompany him out on a night in Niwa. it was upsetting that he wasn't going to show, but at least she made them pay up front.

Crossing one leg over the other she leaned over the bar and let out a heavy sigh. The bartender finding this a good opportunity to make his move, swiftly moved to her with a drink in his hand. "On the house." He said with a big smile across his face.

Iris raised her glance to his and bit softly at the corner of her lip. "Thanks darlin`~" There was still disappoint in her that she was going to have a boring night by herself, well, that was until the elevator door dinged once more. Causing her attention to shift. Another man, well, boy, entered the lounge. It wasn't her client, and at that point she had completely given up on the fact he may show up. Taking the drink the bartender had given her she brought it up to her lips and drank it in one go.

"Another?" He asked leaning over the bar a bit.

"Please." Iris said, her eyes glancing back at the newest addition to the Sky Lounge. Eyeing to see what he was going to do. Why? Something about him didn't scream like he belonged there.

Current Attire

Tye subconsciously twitched a bit as he exited the elevator, partly from seeing what he looked like in the elevator door's reflection. Suited up without a ounce of his usual attire showing, he even went so far as to wash off his precious make-up, revealing his face to the world at large, as well as making the scars that ran through it a bit more noticeable. His wild black hair was now combed back to make him stand out even less around the business district; No longer a clown but a respectable member of society, at least for the moment. He let out a sigh of self pity as he stepped out of the elevator, his sneakers -kept on, only because running in dress shoes sucks- hitting the smooth floor of the lounge.

He hated looking like this but he had a mission in mind, things seemed a bit down with his fellow Skulk members; So he thought trashing one of the more fancy clubs would get them out of their funk. His previous attempts at entrance lead to a few altercations, so another tactic had to be used. Finding the set of clothes in one of the boxes of his possessions, a more recent relic from his time working with his brother, Tye had soldiered through the memories to help boost morale for his fellow gang-members.

Keeping his face in a determined grimace, he eyed the crowd in the lounge hoping to spot some other overly ambitious party goers to help in his scheme. The place seemed dead though, not too many people. This turned his grimace into a out right frown. All his work and not even a good turn out for it to happen.

Quickly deciding to wait it out a bit, he made his way over to the bar, hoping to at least get something out of this place. He picked a seat to the end of the bar, causally waiting for the bartender to finish what he was doing before ordering anything. He kept himself occupied by thinking of different ways to change his plan, as well as why his tie was trying to choke him out.

"This is gonna be a long motherfuckin night." He thought quite bitterly as he glared daggers at his tie.

The bartender barely notice the man coming to sit at the bar, but what he did notice was Iris's attention focused cleanly on him. It was the only reason he was able to catch the man in his sights and go do his job. The woman sitting just a few empty seats down from the new comer licked her lips and turned her head away from him. 'Nothing interesting.' She thought, running her fingers along the trim of the glass. A spark of electricity rounded the glass, causing a small clicking noise to be over heard. It wouldn't last long, though, as Iris pushed the glass back and waited for the bartender to come back to her.

Only once he was done getting the drink for the man at the end of the bar would he return to her, and pick up the empty glass. Unfortunately for him it was charged with a small electrical current and when he picked it up it shocked him just enough for him to let go of the glass and let it shatter down on the ground. He let out a gasp and hiss of pain as his fingers felt a short bit of numbness. Anyone looking at Iris would see a seductive, jester style smile across her face. Biting softly at her bottom lip she leaned forward and pointed her fingers at the bartender like a gun, and made a gesture like she was shooting at him. Her lips moved in the motion of saying 'bang', and a very quick bot of electricity escaped her finger and hit the bartenders shoulder.

Putting her hand down into her lap, her entire expression changed from amusement to concern. "Are you alright?" She asked, pushing the bar stool back and standing up. Leaning over the bar, letting her stomach and chest press against it, she offered a smile. The bartender took a deep breath and nodded his head. "Y-yeah.. thanks." His eyes wondering from her eyes down her dress. Iris bare her pearly whites as she leaned back off the bar and stood up. "Of course." She chuckled softly to herself.

The amusement in her expression only returned when the bartender turned to go get himself straightened up. Moving her hand to her hip, Iris took a deep breath and sighed with content. Turning her head back to the patron at the end of the bar, her lemon drop eyes looked him up and down. He was the only one that could've seen what she had done, he was the only one that could call her out for the actions she had just done. Question was, did he see it? And if so, what would he do?

A girls gotta have a little fun every now and then. Even if that fun is tormenting another.

The bartender finally came to take Tye's order, Tye immediately sitting up his straightest dropping his intense staring contest with his tie. The man didn't seem to notice or just didn't care, taking that as a good sign, he began to think of a good drink to steady himself out. The bartender seemed a bit rushed if anything else, so being polite he decided to just order the first drink that came to mind.

"So, what will you be having sir?"

"You know how to make A Bloody Good Time?" Tye asked, his face still twisted in displeasure. It made him seem meaner and more likely to snap if someone said anything to him, for example if he was of drinking age or not. He never really remembered his first drink, he was 15 and his brother had insisted he learned the effects of alcohol for some convoluted reason or another. " Yes, it's not often someone orders it though. " The bartender replied as began to prepare the drink.

"Well then, I guess they don't know how to have one." Tye replied, grinning at his own joke. The bartender gave a heartless chuckle as he caught on to the punchline, Tye took it as a small victory nonetheless. The man set his drink on the table, having made it in due time, if Tye was the sort of person he would have tipped the man, he had no such inclinations on paying for anything though.

Taking a sip from his glass, he could barely taste the alcohol in the drink, it was like a soda; That was of course until he swallowed, the mix burning his throat a bit on the way down. He winced a bit at that moment, setting his drink down so he wouldn't spill it on his clothes -even though he despised them immensely- taking a few moments to recompose himself he let his eyes wander the bar. There wasn't really much people there, just like the rest of the club, he did see a woman sitting by herself more close to the bartender.

She was pretty, which was sort of a understatement, but he lacked the proper chaste terms to go into detail; He also noted she was probably a few years older than himself. He never really looked at women this thoroughly, but something about her caught his eye. She was alone for one thing, and someone who looks like that was never alone, even if the club was dead, though, that would explain why she was getting cozy with the bartender. Speaking of the bartender the man seemed to be having a bout of bad luck, a glass slipping from his hand, crashing to the floor. That seemed to score him some sympathy points with the woman, as she leaned over to check on him.

Tye was going to just go back to his drink when he noticed the look on the woman's face: A sly, wicked smile. That made him a bit curious, until he saw what she was doing, raising her hand in the style of a gun, she "shot" the bartender in shoulder. This seemed to do something to the man, as he seemed struck by something. As soon as that happened however, the woman's personality seemed to shift to an innocent one. It seemed like he wasn't the only one pretending to be something he wasn't.
He let a grin plaster on to his face at the thought before looking back to the woman; She was staring at him.

He stared back for a few moments, his purple eyes meeting hers for the barest of seconds before he mouthed the word "Bang" and laughed.

Most sane individuals, no matter how attractive one is, would've looked away with a scolding expression. Maybe even tip off the bartender about just how he came about his limp arm and shocked fingertips. Yet, the man at the end of the bar seemed to have something else in mind. The playful action of him lifting his hand into a gun and shooting in her direction gave her a tingling sensation in her stomach. 'Playful~ I like..' She thought, her eyes squinting and her lip tugging upward into a crooked smile. He was young, and it was obvious, but who was she to deny a good time to. In her profession, she'd taken men out younger. Not like she was looking for a hook up here.

With the thought of spending the rest of the evening with the youngster at the bar she gave him a wink turned away from him. Her hands tucked behind her back, she gestured with her finger for him to follow her. If not just for the simple fact she had gotten the correct reaction out of him, but who wouldn't want to follow that? In that dress the curve of her back to leg was that of a monument to stare at. If not for the sole fact that she was psychotic, Iris could be considered a decent catch of a woman. If one could get past the fact she loved to hunt humans for fun, had an eye for destroying the world one day, and was a dirty cop, they may find her both physically and mentally attractive.

Iris wouldn't look back at the man, but found her way to a corner booth, rounded with black leather seating. They were for bottle service, obviously, and Iris was aware of that. So when a woman in a more skimpy dress than she approached, the elemancer spoke quickly. "I'll take a bottle of your best, two shot glasses and bring two orders of whatever the gentlemen at the end of the bar ordered." She smiled at the woman, "Keep them coming, if I don't have to request a refill I'll tip generously."

The bottle server was caught off guard at how well Iris knew her way around the bar scene. One couldn't help but learn when around politicians and CEO's, taking them out for a great night had bottle service written all over it. The woman nodded and quickly sped off towards the bar. Iris chuckled softly, the jester like grin crossing her face once more. Alcohol and a playful mood was going to be fun for her and her new friend, but it would be unfortunate for the people at the Sky Lounge not to long from now.

Sliding into the booth, Iris crossed one leg over the other and looked up to hopefully find her new friend had followed her.

He could have been getting drunk already, but Tye could swear the woman who had just messed with their mutual bartender for amusement was beckoning to him. He hadn't exactly been trying to get a good look at her curves, but he was unashamedly checking her out as she walked away, and he could see her finger moving in the universal sign of "follow me".

He didn't exactly date or get into hook-ups quite often -no one seemed to really get past the clown look- but he did know how to play the game. He took his time, finishing off the rest of drink, getting more used to the burning sensation that followed with each gulp. He gave the bartender a curt nod and grin before following after the woman. She seemed to have picked one of the corner booths, talking to one of the attendants, hopefully about more drinks. He would let them finish before joining the mysterious woman, taking his time just a bit.

Though he was admittedly a bit taken back by both the woman's appearance and abilities, he was far from susceptible to tricks. Reminding himself to keep his guard up even if she seemed like fun and excitement, she was like fire from what he had seen, and that meant getting burnt was a possibility. The attendant seemed to leave on whatever orders the woman had given her, Tye took that as his cue to join her.

Taking a seat adjacent to her, he gave her a good look, noting she had that sly smile still on. He gave her one of his own, matching hers. "So, you seem like someone who enjoys mischief." He stated, letting his drawled speech flow into his words. He let her comment on that before continuing, "I'm Tye, it's nice to make your acquaintance." He held his hand out for a shake, testing to see if she was going to try some stunt on him.

Enjoys mischief? This boy had no idea who he was talking to. Iris may as well have invited the word, except for the fact her age didn't back that up. "Mhmm~" She said with slight tug at her bottom lip. Her golden eyes watched as he slid into the booth, sitting across from her, and making himself comfortable. It was good that he had followed her, the last thing she needed to do was cause a scene and tase him so bad he had no choice but to join her. "May as well call me the queen of it." There was a quick and playful remark to his comment. It reassured her that, one he wasn't there to scold her about what she had done, and two he had a playful side to him as well. He just hadn't shown it yet.

"Tye." Iris repeated his name before extended out her hand towards his. The small hairs on his arms would begin to stick up, but he would feel no pain when she grabbed his hand softly. He'd feel her finger brush against his wrist, and a tingling --a very pleasant-- feeling, would vibrate in his vains. "Iris Shyvanna Lang. It's definitely a pleasure." She'd not keep his hand for long, Iris wasn't one to make people feel uncomfortable~ at least not in that way.

Leaning back against the booth she brushed her hair to one side and let it fall across her shoulder. One of her legs crossed over the other, and her foot tapped slightly in the air. She could feel it brushing against his pant leg, but not against him. Iris seemed like a predator as she looked at him, as if she were ready to eat him up. "What brings you here, young man, because I know I'm doing something illegal right now by offering to buy, give and consume alcohol to someone who definitely isn't of age." However before he had time to answer, she laughed out loud. Her hand covering over her lips quite quickly to stop herself from continuing. "Oh, who am I kidding~! I've done worse." She has...

Oh she has.

"But no, Tye, indulge me and tell me why you're here." The look on her face was pure enjoyment. Iris was beautiful, but god she could be very scary.

The queen of mischief, it took most of his willpower not to go into one of his usual laughing fits. He had jokingly called himself from time to time the clown prince of mischief, and now he found a queen. It was both hilarious and ironic. Moving on from that, he found her quite enjoyable, the way she responded to his question, she was smooth and jokey with her word usage, he would've called it intoxicating, if he wasn't already a little buzzed. Though, the minute she shook his hand, he would call that something else entirely: Pleasurable. He was barely able to focus when she introduced herself to him, he noted to remember it just in case, though he doubted he would in the long run.

He let himself relax into the plush cushion of the booth after the pleasantries were over, he wasn't really used to sitting in these more exclusive sections of any bars really, he was more accustomed to being with the people on the floor, milling about and having a wicked time. He wasn’t going to complain anytime soon, however, finding himself lazily smiling at the situation.

The woman -Iris, he quickly reminded himself- seemed relaxed as well, crossing her legs without a sense of trouble to her movement. He was completely transfixed, he barely heard her playfully tease him a bit. “Well to be honest, this wouldn’t be the worst thing I’ve done either.” He replied, the things he had done with his teenage years would cause anyone else to lose their minds early on. He briefly pondered what that meant to him as Iris continued to talk, pausing as she waited for the young man to answer her question. Staying silent for a few moments, Tye leaned forward on the table that separated himself from his new friend. “I’m here to wreck this place up a bit, make some noise if you will.” He answered in all earnest, he doubted that she would try to stop him from doing so and just maybe she was willing to help.

Whatever her response would be, he let his lazy smile turn into it’s usual clownish grin. Without the make-up on, this particular grin of his would only be described as unnerving. He wasn’t exactly going for that, but it’s had been a while since he was not seen as a fun-loving clown.

Iris could tell when she had someone wrapped around her fingers. The intoxicated look on his face, the relaxed look he had about him; she'd seen it so many times before. Yet this one she wouldn't toy with, no, she'd see where it went and maybe they'd be toying with the unsuspecting victims of the lounge: together. The thought brought a jester styled smile to her face, but to someone like Tye, he wouldn't be turned off about it. He'd see the pleasantry in it, the almost seductive nature of it. Being mischievous was some what of an aphrodisiac to Iris, which in most cases was that way to anyone like herself. The thought of wrecking a busy place like this up, and making some noise as Tye called it, completely turned her on to learning more about this boy and what he had to offer.

"I see." She commented before leaning forward, her chest resting on the edge of the table along side of her elbows that propped her head up, which rested in her palm. "I was here for quite the opposite, actually. However since I was stood up, causing some trouble would improve my night." There was no need for her to ask to join, all she did was invite herself in.

The waitress returned, a blueish-purple bottle, two shot glasses and another two drinks rested on the servers tray. "Two bloody good times, a bottle of our top shelf vodka, and two shot glasses." She said with a smile, setting them down in front of the couple before giving them a head nod and turning from them. As she walked away, Iris's attention fell onto Tye.

"Watch." She whispered. Her hand moving into the same position as she had done to the bartender just moments earlier. Turning her fingers into a gun, pointing it at the young server, and shooting as if a real weapon, Iris popped a shock straight into the back of the girls knee. "Bang." Her words would be muffled out by the yelp of the young server, as she fell to her hands and knees. She'd lost feeling in her knee, making it difficult to continue walking. The best part was the view, as she had fallen her tiny dress had risen up and over her waist. The red thong that now bare to both Tye and Iris was all but laced with seduction.

Iris bit her lip and said, "She was hoping to get lucky tonight~" Then there was a evil chuckle that followed. Pleasantries were all fun and games, but this was the true fun. Destroying, humiliating and taking advantage of those who were weaker. Iris loved it; plain and simple.

Tye couldn't help himself, he joined in with the woman's chuckle, letting out a chorus of laughter at the sight before him. It was the first time he had allowed himself to let go since forgoing his paint, it felt pretty good. He did feel a bit bad about the waitress, she was just doing her job, and apparently something more from her choice of undergarments; It was all in good jest though. Calming himself for the moment, he reached over and grabbed one of the offered drinks. Another bloody good time, the first had barely left him buzzed, if this was how the night was going to go, he was sure he would need to be pretty loose to keep up with his companion's humor.

Taking a long draw from the cup, Tye felt the liquid smoothly go down this time around, which he was thankful for. He licked the lingering residue off his lips before turning his attention back to the woman. "Anybody who was stupid enough to stand you up, is missing out." He stated quite bluntly, a small smile on forming on his face. "I guess that's a good thing though; We get to run this place tonight." Now that Tye had seen what Iris could do first hand, he had a couple ideas on how to get things started.

His more rational side reminded him to be wary of the sultry woman, there was no guarantee she wouldn't just turn on him as well. He brushed those thoughts off, he had a gang to represent and someone who seemed to enjoy the fine art of mischief as himself, this was a time to laugh, not to worry about back-stabbings.

Picking up his glass, he raised it into the air. "How about a toast to new friends?" He asked, waiting for the eventual clinking of glasses before draining a third of the drink. "Now that, that's over. Let's hit the dance floor." He got out of the booth, holding his hand out as a gentleman would to assist the lady out of her seat; And it would like that to everyone else oblivious to Tye's expression: A giant Cheshire Cat smile. He did have a very mischievous plan, but most of the smile came from knowing that Iris was probably going to surprise him still.
