Niwa's Recent News
  • 19 April 2015 -- Niwa is under new management!

Niwa is now under new management as we strive to stand up the the standards of fun and entertaining roleplaying we have so far provided here at Niwa. Today makes the start of a campaign to bring in new members as Head Admin Akaiken and Support Admin Sparky work together to improve and uphold the current face of Niwa and keep us all moving forward!

They said this was a city for our kind, they said it was a safe haven from the rest of the world. This was suppose to be the city where we where safe from regular humans. But, in a city where Meta-Humans run rampant, is there such thing as safety? When taking what you want is as simple as waving your hand, or closing your eyes, how can there be law? In this city, the truth is there is only one source of law, and that are the different criminal organizations that have formed all around us. The only order is that of the darkest part of humanity, of criminal organizations where the strong thrive while the weak gasp for air. This is Niwa Nights.. This is our home.

Can you survive it?

Fiora rested her hands on her stomach. For the past week and a half, she hadn't felt a hundred percent. She wouldn't describe it as a sick feeling, no her kind didn't get sick, but maybe a stomach bug. Either way she wasn't enjoying it, and it was present in the way she composed herself. Both Silas and Sairyou could tell, but thankfully neither of them pushed the issue. To them she could have just been PMSing, which again, they didn't try to consult her on that topic. Both Silas and Sairyou had been with her at her place for over a week and a half now, both of which hadn't met. As weird as that was, Sairyou had the outhouse that was conveniently converted into a small home just a few months ago. He hadn't needed much, no face meant no mouth, which meant feeding him wasn't necessary. Silas, on the other hand, he had made tent in her bed. Which, she didn't mind one bit.

Things were great, surprisingly. Given the fact that she had let a burglar (ironic) steal her affections and then her residency. Not that she would complain, having a male around that had a face was nice. He had been relatively good to her, given the circumstances. It was all Fiora wanted, not someone to make her want to kill them. She didn't need loyalty, not that she would particularly like him to see other women, and for that she wasn't worried about him not coming back to her place after he left for the day. As Scarlett and Wraith, Fiora held no leash on the man.

It was morning time, the sun hadn't risen yet but Fiora sat soundly on the couch. She had left Silas in bed to come make coffee and watch the sun rise through her back windows. It was the simple things that gave her serenity. The chill air that brushed in through the open patio door was nice. It gave her goosebumps on her bare legs. The silk nightgown she had on was a beautiful shade of red, complimenting those vivid pink eyes that had come back from their more purple ones they had been for a while. Not that because her eye color returned to normal, had she. Fiora still felt no emotional ties to anyone, except for Silas and Sairyou.

"Mmm..." Fiora took a deep breath and rested her head back on the couth. Her eyes closed, and she listened to the sounds that were echoing through the still frozen lake out back. She tightened her grip on her coffee and brought it up to her chin were she took a sniff. The smell of coffee in the morning, with hazelnut creamer and a dash of sugar, woke her up like no other.

"Good morning."
The immortal said as she heard footsteps coming down the stairs. She brought her drink back down to her lap and kept her head tilted back on the couch. Her eyes opened to see who approached her...

Silas
It was definitely an interesting week for Silas. One whole week where he didn't have his usual nights of partying and drinking, however each night did end the same way. He would find his way to his new "sleeping quarters" and in it there would be a woman waiting for him. A woman Silas had called his girlfriend, a woman whose past defined her present...a woman who suddenly seemed to be somewhat under the weather.

It was odd to him that Fiora was capable of getting sick so he thought maybe it was something more, however Silas had another issue that he needed to deal with. One was his night of weakness was quickly approaching and he would either need to leave for the day, or at the very least be rid of Fiora until afterwords. The other issue was while this week was peaceful, it seemed as if something was whispering to him throughout the night. It was obviously something dead, but why did it want to get his attention, and why now? He simply ignored the whispers and went to bed as he did for the past couple of nights.

The immortal woke up and noticed Fiora wasn't in bed with him. It was odd that he hadn't woken up when she left like he normally would with anyone else. Was it actually getting comfortable with having her around? Nevertheless he got dressed and walked down the stairs.

"Good morning", he said as he walked down the stairs and towards the coffee maker. He poured himself a cup before looking at her. "Feeling any better today?", he asked.

Fiora watched as Silas moved towards the kitchen where there was coffee waiting for him. She took a deep breath and leaned her head up and took a sip of her own cup of joe. "No particularly. Not really sure what's going on either." She confessed. "Never been sick before and I can't be pregnant." Fiora said with a laugh. "I've tried." Many times actually, humans and meta- alike have been unable to give her the joy of having a child. "Let's just hope it passes soon, I hate feeling this way." Hopefully there wasn't some immortal disease that someone gets at a certain age. Her mother and father were a good five to six hundred years old and never mentioned it, but that didn't mean something new didn't come around. That was a long shot, but it was a still an option.

Pulling her legs up, she crossed them under her and leaned forward a bit on the couch. "Do you have any plans today, I wanted to show you something if you were free." No one had ever seen Fiora's vault, not even Aurael. Come to think of it, no one had seen her entire house besides Silas. What made him so different that she trusted him with... well, everything?

Maybe it was the excitement of knowing he wasn't too attached not to kill her. Or the fact if she were angry enough and wanted to kill someone she could kill him, and know he'd come right back. Know he'd always come back...

"It's nothing too spectacular~" There was sarcasm in her voice, a jester smile crossing her face as she gazed off at him and gave him a wink. "I think you'll enjoy it."

Silas
Silas sipped his coffee, wondering what could it have been. She admitted to never getting sick before, so it couldn't have been that. When she said she had never been pregnant before either his eyes widened for a moment. Was that it? After all Silas was no regular person, perhaps he was the person that could have her bear a child. It wasn't impossible, and Silas and Fiora had been together for awhile and Silas hadn't really taken any safely precautions with her either. He usually would or ask if they were on a pill or something, but the first time they did it, it was out of nowhere. She killed him and when he came back it was just in the heat of passion.

Silas was a half breed. Could he have a kid that would be something even more special than he was? That was dangerous, yet interesting. However a huge risk to any of his future plans. Silas didn't speak of it, however he would just observe to see if any more signs showed up. He walked to behind the couch she was sitting on and he rested a hand down on it while leaning forward. "I have eternity to spend doing whatever...If you want me to be free, I can be free", he said with a slight smile before taking another sip of the coffee.

He walked and sat down next to her wondering what she could have showed him. Would he actually care? Would it matter? He had been around for a long time, it wouldn't be easy to impress him. However she seemed so sure it would impress him. She had been around for a long time too, maybe it was an interesting collection. He sighed and just nodded and it.

As he came around the couch and sat next to her, she leaned over and rested her shoulder against his. Her head rested down onto his shoulder for a moment, she still wasn't sure how he felt about showing affection but Fiora would get some whether he wanted to or not. Though he didn't need to worry about it often, she wasn't the needy type. He'd find her more often then not being independently affectionate to herself, either that or finding it from Sair-boo. "Then you'll be free for me today." Her words were kind, soft and gentle.

Once they finished their coffee she'd lean off of him and get up from the couch. She'd take his empty cup and put them into the sink beside one another. 'Wonder what I'll show him first...' She thought, running water into the cup and letting it flow over them both before shutting it off. There was a bit of hesitation as she turned towards Silas, giving him a smile. This was a bit of a stretch, showing him something like this but hell, the worse that could happen was he knew how to get there. Everything about her vault was meta- impossible to open. She needed to trust him though, that was the key to whatever it was they had.

Even if she knew that was bogus.

"Follow me." She said gesturing towards the back door. The sliding glass door would open up to the balcony that was covered in a soft, thin layer of snow. Her bare feet making feet prints as she shuffled to the stairs that would lead down to the floor level. Ahead of them would be the late, which was frozen over this time of year. It had a deck, which she couldn't wait till summer to bring out the boat. Once they got down the stairs, Fiora would turn and walk under the porch. There was a door there with no handle, and looked as if it were closed off permanently. She turned her head to Silas, who would inevitably been following her, and smiled. "Ready?"

Putting her hand against the door, a thin blue light scanned over her hand and a clicking sound could be heard before the door began to open inwards. "I'm bringing you to a place that I've never shown anyone before." When he'd enter, there would be a long stairway that would lead downwards. There were blue lights that illuminated the floor so that it was easy to see the stairs, but other then that it was impossible to see in front of them.

"Before I moved here I had my vault moved, physically, from my last place of residency. However it was too big to have it just sitting in my backyard." She said with a smile on her face, which would have been impossible to see, but he could hear the grin in her tone. "Thankfully, the Japanese were afraid of another Hiroshima occurring and bomb shelters were scattered everyone around this country. It was why I picked this place in particular. So having the vault put in was easier then I had anticipated. Granted, having the land taken up and then put back cost a pretty penny, it was still worth it. It's why I'm surrounded by new forestry." She had this place renovated prior to her moving to Niwa, thankfully no one asked questions and the land was privately owned. It all worked out for her.
