| They said this was a city for our kind, they said it was a safe haven from the rest of the world. This was suppose to be the city where we where safe from regular humans. But, in a city where Meta-Humans run rampant, is there such thing as safety? When taking what you want is as simple as waving your hand, or closing your eyes, how can there be law? In this city, the truth is there is only one source of law, and that are the different criminal organizations that have formed all around us. The only order is that of the darkest part of humanity, of criminal organizations where the strong thrive while the weak gasp for air. This is Niwa Nights.. This is our home. Can you survive it? 31st December 2013 2315 hours Tenshi Island ~ Kagami-Ji ‘The Mirror Temple’ The Mirror Temple situated on Tenshi Island lay in its usually state of peace and harmony. The surrounding forest and the temple grounds were covered in two inches of snow. The numerous reflective pools were frozen over, adding to the serenity of the building. Beyond the pollution of the city lights there would be no moon rising in the sky that night. What light there had been was few and far between. Lanterns adorned and lit much of the temple itself and the immediate gardens. What did stand out were the abundance of heavily armed men patrolling the perimeter of temple grounds. What few genuine temple goes had been ushered from the building hours early so it could be transformed into the staging ground for the Xin Hop meeting. The Empress, Qiao Xifeng had gone to some pains to bring her potential backers to this place under the cover of a new year celebration. Paradise Park had a fireworks display planned for the evening that promised to light up the sky at the appointed hour. Not that Xifeng could see it. The limousine rolled to a stop at the front of the temple, when the door opened a single unimpressive figure stepped out. She was average height, though on the thin side. Her dead, lifeless red eyes fell on the men around her who seemed to visibly shrink from her. Her dress was business formal, her short hair framing around her face. As she stepped towards the temple of pair of well built bodyguards fell into stride behind her. Even from a distance it was obvious the size and potential strength of her personal guards was attributed to far more than performance enhancers. “See that my guest are shown in the moment they arrive.” Her tone was completely flat, but there was something of a smile on her features. Tonight was going to be something spectacular. One of the defining moments in the Triad war, if there was even going to be a war. After tonight, Jin Tsui and his Tai Yeung mongrels would roll over and sit or she would give them a new meaning of play dead. |

Scarlett hadn't seen Wraith before she left her apartment, the message from Fiora had come suddenly and she had no time to wait. No note, no nothing. She knew that when the time came that it would come without warning. Hoping that this wouldn't be the last time she would see her apartment, Scarlett headed to the location that was given to her. A message was sent to Ben, Arthur, Nemetis, Obadiah, Jin and Brit ~ they'd be asked to meet her at Tenshi Island, just north of the Mirror Temple, on a side road that was adjacent to the entrance. The message would tell them to meet her there as soon as possible. Where had it all started? Scarlett had never wanted to be apart of this war, but her heart had been pulled in whether she wanted to or not. As she sat in the back of the taxi that took her towards the location she couldn't help but look back at everything that had happened. From meeting the man that would cause her to put her life on the line for his freedom, to the moment she got the text from Fiora saying it was time. Every second she had put into gathering the right people to take down the Empress, to the secrets she had to hide from the one that could have blown the lid off this entire operation. From Ben Tai to Miki, she had put every thought into the people she brought with her to end this senseless war. If it didn't end tonight.. Scarlett feared for the Tai Yeung family. "We won't see battle today, but we will see them off. This is a fight I don't desire to be apart of. Next time, Sairyou." Holding tight to her morals, Fiora stood in the desired location. She had been the one Scarlett had came to when she needed to have the Empress followed, tracked and gathered whereabouts on for the past few weeks. The immortal wasn't there to help Scarlett in her fight, no, she was there to see her off. Scarlett had become a friend to her, and as hard as it was to watch a friend go into what seemed like a suicide mission, it was beyond Fiora's control to help beyond what she had already done. Standing beside the silver haired woman was a faceless man. Since meeting, she hadn't went many places without him by her side. They were now bonded as wielder and weapon, master and slave, lovers, and companions. He was much apart of her as she was to him. One giving the other purpose, the other helping fulfill it. "She's here." The red head moved from beyond the brush, a black outfit--jeggings and a V-neck-- all but shadowed her into darkness. Her eyes were her only downfall, the bright sapphire color seemed to illuminate in the dark. She stepped towards the immortal and her companion, her heart was pounding below her chest, but for what reason? She wasn't afraid of the fight that awaited her. There was no doubt that this was what needed to happen. It wasn't excitement, who would be excited for something like this... other then McAlister and Ben, but those two were exceptions in of themselves. "Fiora.." Scarlett said holding the immortals gaze. "Scarlett. The Empress has arrived just a few moments ago. There are a few guards outside, but once you're in that is were the real fight awaits." Fiora stepped towards Scarlett, and put out her hand. Scarlett reached hers out and took it and nodded her head. The two of them had been in and out of shit the last few weeks, and as sad as it was, this maybe the last moment they saw one another. Neither of them knew much of girl-friends, so it was hard on them both. "I also, brought what you asked for. Are you sure about this?" Scarlett nodded her head and pulled her hand away from Fiora's. "Yes. If things go south, it's the only way." Fiora didn't like the idea that Scarlett had shared with her just a few days prior to that night, however she couldn't argue it was genius. Moving her hand into her pocket, she pulled out something small, white in nature, and handed it to Scarlett. "Thank you." Opening her mouth, she clipped whatever it was into the back of her tooth, and moved her jaw around. Fiora nodded and turned towards Sairyou, and gave him a soft smile. It was time for them to wait for the rest of the fighters. |

**Ben Tai** « Yes » He thought to himself as he looked at his phone without looking up, he hovered to the bedroom turned walk-in closet and opened the door, before him lay his entire wardrobe, suits, masks, pants and accessories. There was no time to marvel in their beauty and he promptly got dressed. This night, he was promised, was going to be the decisive night. There would be no more triad Wars. No more Hop heads ruining his precious Chinatown, no… he didn’t care about the Tai Yeung, nor did he care about the property damage, nor did he care about all the victims that have died in this war. SHE cared, and that was all that mattered to him. With the war over, and his hand being partly responsible for its end, will mean their first night as husband and wife will be legendary. He was going to be prepared. He decided to wear two costumes, one underneath the other, and a single mask ought to suffice. The first costume will be that of the Dashing thief: A very elegant tuxedo that he handcrafted himself to go with his body that came with a beautiful cape. This was the same costume he wore when he met Scarlett, and the same mask. Over it, he will wear a big black hooded cloak that will conceal his body; a very convenient costume to frighten those who dare venture in the restricted areas of the Tai Yeung; nothing like superstition to keep the children away from where they shouldn’t be, and ideal to strike fear to his unexpected victims. His weapons of choice will be the big two handed scythe that goes well with the cloaked costume. He also equipped several daggers on his body. There was one strapped to his lower back for easy access another that was strapped vertically under his tuxedo coat, on his right chest, and one under each sleeve. He was ready. He opened the window that led out of his apartment, and vanished into the darkness of the night and toward Tenshi island. **Sairyou N. Buki** He acted accordingly, and melded his being with Fiora, his precious wielder. He couldn’t contain himself, and like a lover asking for attention, he lightly rubbed her arm with his smooth porcelain skin. His clothes and physical attributes went as far to contrast her own. His clothes were dark silver over being fully black. She was a magnificent fighter who trained diligently, at least. So he was somewhat amused. They are both immortal, so their time together will be, effectively never ending, so he doesn’t use his influence as much with her, there was little to no need. He could feel her blood lust whenever she swings him around. Sairyou had little to no problem adapting himself to a new wielder, there unity was complete after the first swing when they initially met, but he told her otherwise. Such lies to ensure her regard of him remained high, while he acted the part of the servant. “Must you be so cruel to me?” He whined lightly as he’d try in vain to persuade her to participate. “Think of the fun we’d have, cutting them d-“ He was interrupted however, as Scarlett appeared, and he let them discuss. Here they were at the eve of a great battle, and he wasn’t going to be used… He looked at Fiora as she smiled, and he reached for her hand. He emanated a warm and comforting energy, making her feel his smile. “Seems like a waste not to use our combined talents… but I will comply to you…always” He did not hide his disappointment. **Ben Tai** “Oh my, my… are my eyes deceiving me.” A dark figure approached them. Looked to be 7 feet tall, and legless, covered in a large cloak with a familiar mask and voice to Scarlett. “Here I believed that the only beauty in this operation would be I and the ravenous Scarlett.” He said with a chuckle, although his eyes were covered, his eyes were obviously on the silver maiden’s curves. Though she wasn’t as impressive as Scarlett, her silver hair added some mystique to her figure, and those legs… Oh to run his tongue all the way up to her…. Without realizing, Ben had hovered down all the way down to lying on the ground, as he slowly levitated up sand down, and rotated around this unknown woman. He stopped to face her, and he stood up straight as he placed his hand across his chest, and bowed lightly. “Such manners, I keep forgetting to introduce myself before gawking. I am Ben Tai. The death lord of the Tai Yeung” He said amused, his eyes fixed to her chest area, before he made a dramatic turn toward Scarlett. “Oh Scarlett, fiery temptress that you are, I hope you are correct in this being the decisive n-“ He stopped as his eyes fell on her body: V is for victory. He shook his head and let out a weary sigh. “Our victory is assured then...” You could hear the perverted smirk. |

Arthur was at home in his room meditating trying to clear his mind. He had so much to think about waiting for the call to say that they were going to start on this mission that apparently the person running the show was going to sacrifice herself for and the whole thing dealing with Eris. His phone ringed and he checked it seeing that he had a txt telling him that it was going to happen tonight and it gave the location they would all be meeting at. Arthur didn't want to wear his armor because he figured that he would need all the speed he had to stay undetected and keep up with everyone. Not that he was slow he just wanted to make sure he could move around swiftly and close any gap between enemies. He threw on a pair of pants that would allow him to move freely and a shirt that didn't hinder anything either. it wasn't exactly the best looking mission outfit but he needed to be able to move fast and efficient in the battles. He attached his masamune to his right side and his dagger to the left side of his waist. he had a specifically made sheath for his small punching dagger was on his chest for easy access if he needed it. If they were lucky they wouldn't have to fight every single person and a small weapon will allow him to kill quickly and as quietly as he could. He had everything and preyed that he come back with the rest of his family members alive suffering no casualties other than his enemies. Arthur went out and hailed a cab telling him where to go. He put himself into sort of a meditative trance because he knew it would be a while before he got there and meditating always helped him clear his mind. He needed a clear head for tonight or it could cost him and his family members to get hurt or worse killed. He couldn't take those risks it was his personal mission to get everyone else out alive at any risk. he didn't want to die and if it was up to him nobody would die this day. Besides he had Eris to look forward too. He was a dragon slayer his very job a suicide mission this should be a walk in the park. If he can survive dragon attacks then what kind of a half breed would he be if he was killed by a human. The cab driver pulled up to where the place was and woke him up. Arthur paid the man and stepped out of the car. He saw Scarlett but he didn't know the others. "Hey Scarlett is everybody here?"Arthur was now beginning to get excited about the fight ahead. What better fun than a suicide mission resulting in a fight for his life. He also wanted to test his might against the Empresses high and mighty impossible to defeat bodyguard Scarlett talked about. Arthur really hoped to run into him to test his might against him. |

NEMETIS Dusk had been packed for the past week or so, after word spread round that the owner was willing to go to prison to protect her patrons it set an example to anyone who thought they could smuggle weaponry into the nightclub. The security had been doubled and even suggested that Asmodeus become a visible deterrent. After all, who wouldn’t want to party with a solid marble statue? Nemetis already made sure his absence would not slow down the bar’s efficiency as he left for the night, Sephyr would have already been told that there was a serious matter he had to attend to personally. Somehow he did not even breach the fact it was in regards to ‘Family’. He travelled only so far by taxi, and left a generous tip for the driver before leaving the cab. The Mirror Temple was a fair distance away, even further if he followed the road. The new moon had provided him with the perfect cover as the work blanketed in darkness. Using his Shadow Stride ability he weaved directly through the forest, no tree or impassable gully hindered his capabilities as his clothes began to press against his skin. His armour had undergone some improvements as he felt each segment strengthening into place along every inch of his body. The potential weight of his armour would have hindered his natural fighting style, thankfully his Shadow Armour remained weightless to the wielder as his every stride found himself closer to the Temple. It could have been concern that marred his features as the shadow counted four distinct figures. Two he already knew, the first being the woman who called for his aid. Scarlett had gained his trust through his brother, and through her own actions. But it was still Wraith he was fighting for, herself being a welcome extension to the family. Fiora, as if that name summed up his concern in one neat little package. He could not deny her passion for the people she held dear, it could only be assumed that she was here to aid in the assassination. The unique individual at her side gained a moment of his attention, truly there were some meta humans he had yet to meet. While the masked figure boasted all that he had to offer in his name alone. Nemetis had officially met Ben Tai once before, and was not surprised in his actions. Stepping from the shadows, his newly forged body of armour solidified around him like a lover’s caress. Gauntlets gave way to heavily fortified shoulder guards as no strap of buckle held them in place. Even the narrow slit of his visor held limited visibility as he looked to each member. His capabilities relied heavily on the shadows that surrounded him, that way he could see the ebb and flow of combat in every direction. Every silent step was fluid and unmistakable as the shadow guardian stood before Scarlett, his loveable persona was replaced by the warrior he needed to be. Capable of anything, even killing his own brother. “I, am ready.” His tone lacked the usual humour as he looked to Scarlett. BRIT With every wild swing Brit growled beneath his breath as the illusioned dummy remained stagnant in its pose. He had trained continuously since he stole the blade of the weapons master. It was either train, or breach the C.R.A.S.H. building once again and find out where the Police Girl was hiding... Was there something he had done wrong?.. Oh yes of course there was... ‘YOU SHOULD HAVE KILLED HER WHEN YOU HAD THE CHANCE!!!’ “FUCK!” He barely heard the audible ring of the cell as it vibrated off the milk carton that doubled as a seat. His hand slowly clenched into a fist as he “Finally! Time for some action!” His eyes skimmed over the details as his newly acquired blade snapped back into its sheath. Something to do, that’s what he needed, and there nothing as relaxing as killing in the name of some chick he can’t even remember her name... Oh wait... It was Red. As the beaten up car veered off to the side of the road, with a loud clack clack the engine died as Brit emerged with sword in hand. His eyes scanned over the few people as he stormed up to the small group with a purpose. His eyes naturally turned to Red. “So. Do we have plans? A killing order?.. Code names?” ‘Anything?’ His tone was more enthusiastic than normal as he regarded each person with individual concern. ‘Who shouldn’t I trust first...’ Was there a mirror close by? “Jesus, what is this World of Warcraft, why the fuck do we need a tank?” His tone suggested he was high on the endorphins as his eyes looked over the plated individual, wait, didn’t he take some of those pain killers Scarlett gave him? ‘I’ll just hide behind you. After all, I don’t need to be the fastest, just not the slowest.’ His grin was malicious as Brit weaved the braided leather strap through his belt and knotted the Katana in multiple locations. His attire had never changed “Name’s Brit... If anyone has a problem with me, we can clear it up after this bitch is dead. Until then, suck it.” It was surprisingly clean and straight to the point, even though he looked to each person individually as he unsheathed his Katana to check that there were no question to his malicious intent. 2359 hours Qiao Xifeng paced back and forth the temple floor which had been converted into a meeting room for the evening. They were late... her ‘backers’ were obviously not men of punctuality. She could already hear the countdown to midnight in the distance. Paradise Park was miles away, but the sound echoed across the perfectly clear night. Stepping out onto the balcony, her broken eyes turned towards the City. It would only be another minute before her goals were realised. Another minute and she would have the bulk of her revenge against the Tai Yeung. The rest she would have to wait until Jin was cowering before her. The men around the perimeter were moving in pairs or groups of three, their eyes scouring along the surrounding forest line as though they were genuinely expecting to see something or someone. Even the armed guards on the road leading up to the temple were ready to stop any approaching vehicles. |

The Chinese were such... pompous people. They had this need to show off and make a big spectacle out of every fucking little thing they did. Always big banners, tall signs, red and golden colors, loud speeches and hand gestures, long and ridiculous titles... everything about these people was mere showing-off, as if they all had small penises and needed to compensate for it. Tatsuo's dislike of the Chinese was something he never cared to hide; but there was some truth about most of his senseless inner ramblings about them. He also happened to be very Japanese and quite proud of it (he'd drink sake and only sake even if he were given the most expensive and refined shot of scotch at a party), and that rivalry that existed between both nations was a flame he had always kept alive in his heart. But still underneath the bullshit, the reason he was really concerned held true: it was a fucking event. There was a reason why small-time gangsters were such easy targets, both for the police and their rival gangs, and that was ego. You could always predict what they would do, how they would react to most situations, and thus it was far too easy to toy with them and have them do pretty much whatever you wanted. All it took was the right action to cause the desired reaction from them. Yakuza, the Italian Mafia and especially the Chinese were all easy targets (not the Russians though... those crazy motherfuckers were tough to crack), and the moment he learned of what the Xing Hop had planned for their meeting Tatsuo couldn't help a hard and loud facepalm. He sat there in his comfortable leather seat, one hand holding the hilt of his sheathed katana which stood up on its end on the limo's floor, the other fumbling his lighter as he looked at his boss sitting right across from him, and wondered why he seemed so pleased. Another two cars just like this followed them: jet-black, brand-new limos of the most generic type; Chinese make, nothing fancy; all belonging to a ghost company from overseas with no links whatsoever to anybody who was even remotely related to his organization: The Wo Shing Society. They had been operating in Niwa for years under many different guises. Some of which included old gangs who had long disappeared after making lots of trouble and caused quite some damage both to the Yakuza and the Triads, then simulating defeat and disbandment, only to reappear as a new, different threat months later. They had been keeping tabs this way on their new city and setting the grounds for a new chapter, a new branch to grow in the city; and to accomplish that they needed to weaken the strongest of their future rivals, or at the very least preventing them to gain any more strength. Now the Yakuza were too busy quarreling among themselves and so were the Triads, but the former were merely in a low simmer while the latter were already boiling and ready. It was for Wo Shing to make a direct move. Tatsuo knew very well how it worked. Hell, he'd been doing most of the work here the whole time, sometimes all by himself; and he knew better than to question his leader's judgment. …but going along with this kind of show, and contributing to make it even bigger? Sure, he understood the Empress needed to be impressed, even if only for a few minutes, and Wo Shing had a very high reputation to uphold especially among the Triads, many of which still respected Wo Shing as their founding elders and tonight the leader of the Xin Hop would learn their true identity, so they had to play the part. But with a display like this, everyone and their brother would know of their presence. "Eiji-san." Tatsuo looked at the man's eyes intently, trying in vain to search for a sign or emotion in their cold gaze. "Whatever your reasons for doing this..." Ishida Eiji, Tatsuo's leader and mastermind of the Wo Shing operation in Niwa merely sighed in contempt and closed his eyes. Tatsuo did not finish his sentence. He knew what he was supposed to know: no more, no less. It was the way Wo Shing operated. All of its members knew what to do at the right moment, and the less they knew about each other's business the better their chances were at succeeding. This was the way Tatsuo had operated as one of the leaders of the Tokyo branch years ago, before being demoted. He knew better than most how it was done and so he should know better than to question the system, but something about this deal reeked of suicide mission. The fact that Wo Shing never really went out in the open bearing their name for all to see, the fact that this was done in ‘broad daylight’ so-to-speak, at a rather public location, and most of all the fucking parade of limousines making its way to meet their 'allies' made him uneasy. Still, he knew better than to disturb his boss when he... did that thing, whatever it was, that freaked Tatsuo out. It was as if the man could actually, really see everything, and it always had Tatsuo wondering if he could read his mind as well. He tried to think as little as possible whenever he saw Eiji close his eyes. Finally, the car stopped and Tatsuo saw his boss open his eyes again and speak in a relaxed tone. "Nevermind your concerns, remember this is supposed to be a party. Just relax." Easier said than done. Especially when heard in the soothing, iceberg-cold sound of Eiji's emotionless, matter-of-fact tone. The driver finally opened the door and Tatsuo stepped out of the limo, adopting the bodyguard role and standing next to the door and looking straight ahead while his leader came out as well. All superfluous, but it was all part of the show they were here to play. As soon as their leader stepped out, all doors of the other two cars opened in unison. Men and women, all clad in black business suites emerged and stood next to their cars in perfect order, awaiting instructions. No doubt there would be someone waiting to show them in and lead the head of the ‘Hong Yang Group’ in; Wo Shing’s current guise for dealings with the Xin Hop. |

One of those suited men and women stood with the gravity of age and but a touch of its appearance. Robes abandoned for a crisp, tailored suit, the material that tiny touch off of black and the tie simple gray silk over white, he was one of few who had opted not to wear sunglasses. The suit was one he didn't wear often, but he has been wearing for some time, having a replacement tailored each time the predecessor became defunct. Sewn into the lining of the jacket were little sleeves, each holding a wooden knife of various lengths and widths, each carved with a specific sealing prayer, recognizable to those learned in his particular religion. No guns. No metal. Just cloth and wood and man. His placement was intentional- opposite Eiji relative to Tatsuo, keeping close to the latter without crowding the former. He stayed the appropriate steps behind them at all times, never being too forward with his presence- he had no intention to be improper or seem important. And, when it comes time to move, that is where he remains as the Hong Yang Group moves as one. |

The immortal took Sairyou's hand as if holding a boyfriends or lovers hand. Awkward for most, but to her she knew what they were to one another. For her, she cared little what people thought. They didn't have a weapon like him, so they could go shove it. Scarlett turned to hear the familiar tone of Ben, his up-beat attitude in a time like this was both welcome and confusing. At least he wasn't trying to be someone he wasn't; pretending that this was any different day for him. Even if for some it was quite the different tell-tale story. Fiora herself found him amusing. It was only when the perv rested on the ground, looking up between her legs did she swat him away with her foot. She tilted her head off to the side. 'Wonder how Silas would react to that...' She pondered. "Fiora Novak, it is a... awkward pleasure to meet you, Ben." She shifted her eyes off to Scarlett who was amused by what had just happened. The red head moved to Ben and put her hand onto his shoulder. Even though she was heartless to most, these people that were putting their lives on the line for their family--the Tai Yeung--she had love and respect for them. She didn't want them to die here...okay well maybe McAlister but that's a different story all together. "I have no doubts in us. None whatsoever." Even if deep down, that may not be the truest of statements. Arthur was the next to arrive, the cabs that pulled up were thankfully too far off the main road for anyone at the mirror temple to catch sight of. Scarlett had her taxi driver stop a few hundred yards away so just to be sure. "No, not everyone." She answered, moving her hand away from Ben's shoulder and resting them at her side. The next face to arrive gave her a glimmer of hope. He had agreed to be there, but it was still a relief to see that Nemetis had shown up. Even the arrival of Nemetis had Fiora staring with a glimpse of happiness. He had saved her life, truly she owned him more then just the smile she gave him when he looked at her. Though this was neither the time or place for such actions. On top of that, she didn't know if he had spoken to Aurael or had even seen her since. Most likely he had, and Fiora knew not how he felt about her because of what had happened. Scarlett approached Nemetis and stood at his side. She offered no words to him but a very light head nod. The sounds of a car dying caught her attention, and she wiped her head around. Of course, the loudest of the bunch would be McAlister. She bare her teeth at him. "Are you fucking stupid?! Let's just announce we are here!" It didn't matter they were off the road as far as they were, that car echoed through the area like a bird farting in an empty forest. Scarlett rolled her eyes as he introduced himself and with a jester like attitude, floated around as if just another day in the park. Fucking crazy people. "You amaze me sometimes..." If she didn't need a favor from him, she would've ignored him completely. Yet before they headed off she'd need to pull him to the side for something. Not everyone was there, they needed to wait, even if it were going to be just a few more minutes. Scarlett wasn't an impatient person, but the ones that showed up late wouldn't be too pleased with her attitude. Her attention would draw the group back to her as she asked, "Does anyone have questions. Comments. Concerns. Voice them now." (I'm giving one more posting round before we go in, give people time to post now) Enter Kyoki Oto` It was only a few days before she was to leave for Hong Kong, so it was best she put her face into the mix before disappearing for the weekend. The last thing she needed was them to think she had run away from her duties. For that reason she sat in the second car on the way to the Mirror Temple. She wore a nice black suit, just like everyone else did. Except her pants weren't exactly 'nice'. They were yoga pants, but who could really tell the difference. Her jacket was nice and simple too, with the button up white top below it. It had a few unbuttoned at the top, because god she hated wearing stuff like this. She looked up-tight. Kyoki twirled her purple hair between her finger tips as the car came to a stop. "Nice place." The lavender eyed woman knew why they were there. Posing as a group called the Hong Yang would be an entertaining event for the night. Not like she had much else to do, and when Tatsuo asks--she does. Like a good little doggy following orders, she put her tail up and followed suit. She stepped out after vehicle behind one of her fellow family members and brushed her hair behind her shoulders. Kyoki adjusted her shirt and woman areas before stepping off to the side, right behind Eiji and Tatsuo. This would be a fun night. Oh little did she know~ Edited by Star, Jan 2 2014, 09:44 PM.

It had gotten colder since the last time Akaiken had visited the temple, the frozen water easing the queasiness that accompanied traveling near or across large bodies of water. Hah wouldn't that have been shameful, to start retching on this... trip. While she knew the importance of this night, and the danger they all faced with pulling off their own mask like this, she couldn't help but think that it felt something like a school field trip. Lines of limos like more elegant school buses filled with uniformed individuals. But it was important, after all Eiji-sama himself was here. Although the love the underworld had for superfluous displays always escaped her. And why else take such advantage of this little 'party'? Why not opt for another route? Because even the Wo Shing Society enjoyed these kinds of flashy demonstrations, even if they liked to act otherwise. She emerged from one of the vehicles, armed with a simple black-sheathed katana at her side. Her hair was tied up in a high ponytail and she kept a few small bits of previously melted plastic, former water bottles, in her pockets though not enough to show off through her suit. It was her own almost standard suit, fitted to allow a bit more movement than the typical one. Beneath she wore a white dress shirt and a tie that almost matched the red of her hair. It was awful convenient they asked for this type of attire as it was what she was most comfortable in. She knew many of the others dressed in street clothes even as they worked, but that wasn't something acceptable where she was raised. Sure she killed plenty of people whilst in casual clothes, but that was rarely for that organization. The red-head exhaled lightly as she stepped into position with the others but stayed silent. Her stance was relaxed with an appropriate amount of visible awareness for this type of event. They were here to 'party' sure, but it was shady business nonetheless and if she was too laid-back that could be suspicious too. Luckily it wasn't her first time at this kind of event although the last time was... not something she needed to be focusing on at the moment. |
